Our Love
A love poem I wrote to my wife in 1996.
Our love,
More fiery than the potter’s kiln,
I cherish more than life.
Our love,
More sacred than the vows I took,
When you became my wife.
Our love
To me is more than just a fairy tale,
And sweeter yet than life.
I love you
More each day, my dear,
Each day more and more.
And more today than yesterday,
And each day that’s come before.
More fiery than the potter’s kiln,
I cherish more than life.
Our love,
More sacred than the vows I took,
When you became my wife.
Our love
To me is more than just a fairy tale,
And sweeter yet than life.
I love you
More each day, my dear,
Each day more and more.
And more today than yesterday,
And each day that’s come before.
