Our Valentines Day. The FINAL Chapter!
FINAL CHAPTER !!
Who ever thought, after everything that went on- Id be sitting in my cottage, with Austin, and my little baby girl.
She's here. She's alive. And she's perfectly well! Nothing is wrong with her, nothing at all! And I thank god for that. But- of course, If something was wrong with my baby, me and Austin will still be there- of course.
When Austin found out the good news, he started running all over the place, thanking everyone there- it was one funny sight, he was back to normal- no more worried looks in his eyes. No more regrets. And not just for him, but for me too.
The doctor put on our video recorder we gave to her, and filmed the best day of our lives.
Austin held our newborn baby in his hands
''Say hello to Mummy'' he said, making our baby wave at me. I gave a massive smile and kissed my baby and Austin.
Our baby cried and cried, but it was happy cries- she then started to laugh and move her hands and legs all over the place, trying to run around- but she couldn't run, she was only just born.
That night, we left the hospital and went home, Austin put the video recorder back on, and started filming our baby, and me, and himself. It was one happy moment. Our baby tried to get in every snapshot possible, I picked her up and spun her around, and she laughed and laughed.
Austin made her some baby food, and I gave her some milk. That night we put her into her cot, in our room- kissed her forehead, and Austin started reading her a story. It was one great day.
I phoned my mum that dad, just to let her know I've had the baby- she was coming down tomorrow, to see our baby and so was Austin's family.
That night, I laid in bed with Austin. We couldn't keep our eyes of our baby. We where so proud- who ever thought this day would be so magical?
''Well done Clair.'' said Austin, putting his arms around my waist.
''You did it,'' he finished of saying. I laughed and smiled.
''No,'' I said. ''We did it.'' and we both exploded with happy tears, laughing and smiles.
Our baby was moving in the cot, making little noises, like she understood what we said- and she too, exploded into giggles. Austin got up, and tucked her in her cot, and kissed her soft cheeks, and tapped her to bed.
''Good night Silver,'' we said to our newborn baby.
Austin rolled in bed with me and we listened as Silver snored away, we smiled.
''Happy Valentines day baby girl,'' said Austin, and he rolled over and gave me a wonderful kiss on my lips, and pulled a rose and a box of chocolate from underneath his pillow.
I smiled, and hugged him tight, giving him a kiss, like it was the last day of our lives.
''Happy valentines day Austin.'' I said, and we sat in bed, arms around each other waist, munching on the strawberry chocolates.
