Our Special Spot

This is another one about my boyfriend Arik who died and a special spot we used to go to by the river...please comment.
I took a walk to our spot today
And in the water I saw your face
I heard you say it will be alright
Then I reached down to hold on tight
But the water rippled and you were gone
Then I couldn't make the tears stop
Why did they have to take you away
They could have tried harder to help you stay
I can’t believe it’s over
Every day just gets colder
I don’t know how much more I can take
You were always the one who made things ok
But now without you in don’t know what to do
How can you help when I’m crying over you
