Our Hearts Beat As One Epilogue:

Epilogue. :) Also. I've set up a day and time to be on here, so that my uploading will be a lot easier. It's going to be every Friday.

Epilogue.

I sighed, and stared off into the distance across the pier. I smiled at the thought of marrying, Justin. It was one of the amazing things that had happened to me so far. I hadn't seen much of his since I'd been home, considering he was taking care of his mom. I had recovered well. I was still somewhat sore, but other than that, the pain wasn't too bad. I just ignored it, If it got too bad. But most of the time It was just a dull pain. I;d forgive Justin, only because he had been a completely different person when he had alcohol in his system.

As for Maryanne. Well, she's still avoiding, Logan but In time things will get better for her. I know Logan has an explanation. There's no way he would do that to her. He loves her way too much. It's noticeable, even for him. Things will work out for her. I know they will. They have too.

As for me and Justin. Well, we're taking things slow at the moment. Not one of those slow relationships. What I meant was, for our wedding, we're holding off until graduation to really plan anything, but he said he wanted me to be his, and that way he knows that even though we're not married yet, we will be soon.

"Thinking?" A soft voice asked from behind me.

I smiled, and turned my head to look at him. "Maybe."

"About what exactly?" Justin asked, taking a seat beside me.

"Us."

"Really?"

"Yeah. Really." I told him, picking up his hand, and playing with his fingers.

"Lil?" Justin asked, leaning over so he could lift my chin up with his hand.

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry."

I frowned and looked at him. "This again?"

"Yes, this again. I just can't stand the fact that it was-"

"It wasn't your fault, Justin. We've been over this. Drop it."

"But-"

"I said drop it." I told him, kissing him.

He sighed, but kissed me back, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me down on top of him.

I grinned and kissed his cheek, then along his jaw, until I came to the exposed part of his neck, before planting kisses along it.

"Lilly." Justin moaned.

"I love you." I told him, pulling away.

"I love you, too." He murmured.

I smiled, and looked at him, tracing every part of his face, before leaning in and softly kissing him once more.

"Lilly, sweetheart, I love you. But now is not the time, to be playing games." Justin told me with an amused grin on his face.

"Aw, come on!!!!!" I cried, laughing.

He grinned, and leaped to his feet. Then he leaned down and picked me up, so that I was cradled in his arms.

"Get ready." Justin whispered in my ear.

I laughed and let out a squeal, when he read head first into the river, that was up ahead.

"Justin!!!!!" I cried, before I went under the water.

I felt a pair of arms wrap securely around me, before pulling me to the surface.

I smiled, and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling myself closer to him.

"I love you." Justin said, brushing my hair out of my face.

"I love you too." I told him, smiling.

Justin leaned down and kissed me, before dragging both of us under water.

I grinned and pushed him away from me, so that I could swim off, without him realizing it.

I swam farther away from him, hoping he wouldn't notice, but when does Justin never not notice?

I smiled, when I felt him grab my foot, before yanking me backwards so that I was back into his arms.

I grinned at him under the water, and I saw him smiled back.

Maybe things were going to work out for me and Justin after all. His mom was home, and safe. Justin was back to normal, I was fine, and things would get better, right? They had too. This past year was just to complicated for them not too.

Justin shot to the top of the water, still keeping me in is arms.

"Cold?" Justin asked, holding me tightly.

"No." I replied, leaning my head against his chest.

"You should be. This water is freezing."

"Not to me."

He sighed, and held me.

I wanted him to hold me. I felt safe in his arms. Knowing that Justin's mom was home safe and sound, Maryanne would be okay, and that I was with Justin, made me smile. Things would get better.

"Well, well, well." A voice said from beside us.

I looked up to find a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, smiling down at us.

"Lisa." Justin whispered.

"Justin. Aren't you going to introduce me?" Lisa asked, smiling.

It will have a lot more of Maryanne and Logan, although I was thinking about writing another story for them.....
