Oromo, Sidama, Ogadeni Indignation for Amhara Apologists of ‘Ethiopian’ Tyranny
The positive aspect of Mr. Abebe Gelaw’s attempt lies in the reaction of numerous readers who came up with a multitude of arguments and evidence that all together consist in a most convincing and absolutely sufficient reason for immediate dissolution of the Abyssinian tyranny – comically and fallaciously labeled ‘Ethiopia’.
Another positive aspect was the ensuing discussion and analytical rejection of Mr. Abebe Gelaw’s arguments, as well as of those who sided with him, supposedly finding evidence of hate speech in my earlier articles. In four consecutive articles, I rejected the accusations, demonstrating that those who never criticized tyrannical, monstrous and inhuman deeds and policies, plans and attitudes cannot accuse of hate speech those who analyze these very tyrannical, monstrous and inhuman deeds and policies, plans and attitudes.
For those willing to retrieve these publications, I state here the titles and the links: (Refutation of Addis Voice Dictatorial and Barbaric Ethos – Part I / http://www.buzzle.com/articles/refutation-of-addis-voice-dictatorial-and-barbaric-ethos-part-i.html - Refutation of Addis Voice Dictatorial and Barbaric Ethos – Part II / http://www.buzzle.com/articles/refutation-of-addis-voice-dictatorial-and-barbaric-ethos-part-ii.html - Refutation of Addis Voice Dictatorial and Barbaric Ethos – Part III / http://www.buzzle.com/articles/refutation-of-addis-voice-dictatorial-and-barbaric-ethos-part-iii.html - Refutation of Addis Voice Dictatorial and Barbaric Ethos – Part IV / http://www.buzzle.com/articles/refutation-of-addis-voice-dictatorial-and-barbaric-ethos-part-iv.html).
Yet, I have to admit that, as it came out, the greatest success did not lie in the massive reactions and the refutation; corroboration of the points of the quadripartite refutation and confirmation of the rightful arguments of all those who reacted against the shameful and totalitarian attitude of Mr. Abebe Gelaw is Mr. Abebe Gelaw’s response itself.
Anemic, pale, faint and hollow, Mr. Gelaw’s response does not exceed 161 words! When Mr. Gelaw faced texts totaling more than 12500 words, he tried to escape with an answer equal just 1% the size of the refutation that he obviously could not adequately face and counterattack.
For an editor of an Amhara portal, with some years of online journalistic experience, the defeat is devastating. When Mr. Gelaw, an excellent, authentic and authoritative representative of the Amhara journalistic and intellectual establishment that backs the Kinijit effort for political comeback, cannot answer, and dodges a public debate opponent, saying that he is "busy", one can certainly understand how the Amhara generals, administrators, antidemocratic politicians, unrepresentative diplomats, and debteras (priests and monks) see the public debate, when in power.
Debate Replaced by State Subsidized Murder: fake ‘Ethiopia’
I therefore deduce that if I were in Abyssinia, in case Mr. Gelaw’s ominous Kinijit friends were in power, and published all that I did, I would be immediately arrested and executed through extrajudicial procedures.
Even more interesting is the debate that ensued among various correspondents which constrained Mr. Abebe Gelaw to answer back, despite the tragic fact that he was very ‘busy’. All this must become publicly known, and shared by many. I believe the way people present their argumentation and evidence bears witness to the level of their education and culture.
Furthermore, several points initiated by the participants enlighten particularly well aspects of the cruelest and most inhuman tyranny of Africa, Abyssinia – ludicrously and fallaciously renamed Ethiopia. Before making known Mr. Abebe Gelaw’s "response", and the subsequent debate, we publish the letter of support sent by Mr. Aman Kedir Kamsare, Vice Chairman of the Front for Independence of Oromia.
Part 1 – Letter of Support by Aman Kedir Kamsare, Vice Chairman of the Front for Independence of Oromia
Dear editors,
I am one of the consistent and permanent readers of American Chronicles and Buzzle. Your journalistic integrity, impartiality, truthfulness and commitment to freedom of opinion and expression are unquestionable. I would like to congratulate you on your success through hard work and perseverance.
After saying this, I want to write to you my opinion and unflinching support to you and to Muhammad Shamsaddin in few words, regarding the hypocritical hullabaloo and pseudo-intellectual character assassination targeting the champion of human freedom and national independence, Megalommatis Muhammad Shamsaddin.
Your judgement, answer and decision concerning this unfounded, lies, accusations and character assassinations targeting the author were absolutely fair and just.
Thanks to Muhammad Shamsaddin, I got an opportunity to be a consistent reader and admirer of your website and articles. Had it not been to indefinable efforts and work of this great man, I would not have joined the website. This holds true for hundreds and thousands of your readers, especially on the Horn of Africa particularly in the Ethiopian empire-state.
Dear Sir /Madam,
I and my Oromian genuine brothers and sisters earnestly trust and love the articles contributed to your website by Dr. Megalommatis Muhammad Shamsaddin. Because his articles express the inner soul and voices of the voiceless people of the Horn of Africa in general and that of fake Ethiopia in particular.
That is why also Abyssinian colonial tyrants and their associates leave no stone unturned to disfigure his personal integrity and discredit his monumental intellectual and professional duties.
Shamsaddin neither has personal prejudices nor conflicts with Abyssinian colonial regime and its defenders. He only executes and discharges his historical, professional and human obligations that is being witnessed by the victims and perfectly matches with the realities on the ground. I and my genuine friends fully support your position and commitment to the ideal of freedom and social justice.
Above all we categorically oppose the colonial hullabaloos and conspiracy of character assassination that is being orchestrated by Amhara-Tigray colonial elites against Dr. Megalommatis Muhammad Shamsaddin.
In addition to my categorical opposition to the perpetrators of genocide in Oromia and in the Horn of Africa, the Amhara-Tigray tyranny, I fully stand shoulder to shoulder with Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis, the symbol of our inspiration of struggle for independence of Oromia, and urge other genuine brothers and sister to join in our march for freedom and independence.
Last but not the least, Dr. Megalommatis Muhammad Shamsaddin is not alone in his struggle for independence, genuine democracy and human freedom.
We shall follow his foot-steps in hundreds and thousands and march towards the astral Finfinne!
With best regards,
Aman Kedir Kamsare

Part 2 – Mr. Abebe Gelaw, Editor of Addis Voice, answers to the quadripartite Refutation of Addis Voice Dictatorial and Barbaric Ethos
Dear Mr. Megalommatis,
Thank you for your so-called refutation, full of lies, distortion, hatred and ignorance. I am sorry that I made you waste so many words and so much time. Sorry, I did not have time to read all the junk.
As far as I am concerned, your so-called articles have no other place than the bin.
You are one ignorant educator with a Ph.D., and I deny you the attention you crave. If you are a real intellectual, as you pretend, preach love, reconciliation, peace and forgiveness. Your Hitlerite speech does not help anyone except your deflated ego. The words and phrases you use are testimony to the fact that you are simply an ignorant educator. I will never spend my time on a disillusioned, pretentious, bogus intellectual like you.
I have decided to completely ignore and leave you alone to entertain the world. Please continue scribbling if that makes you feel better.
God bless you anyway.

Part 3 – Sidama National Liberation Organization Chairman Kambata Xola refutes Addis Voice Editor Abebe Gelaw
Dear Abebe Gelaw,
For the email you sent to Professor Megalommatis:
I am the Sidama national, not because Professor Megalommatis lectured me to be so, but that is my identity that has been de-personalized and dehumanized by your successive regimes’ cruelty!
I shall continue to re-claim it whether you/Abyssinian chauvinists such as yourself (Abebe Gelaw), Mr. Eremias Woldemikael, and others like you.
Perhaps they saw as threat such publicity about the Sidamas, and others whose issues have been buried under the evil slogan of 'one Ethiopian', whatever the cost.
I and other subjugated nations of Ethiopia don't accept this, even if you dream this will be true.
The time has passed for that!! Please shut up, and walk with dignity for the best interest of all!!
As I have clearly stated in my earlier articles - answers to Abebe's and Eremias's emails to the American Chironicle editor respectively, the only reason that all Abyssinians (Tigrean/Amharas) all over the globe are fuming is simply because Megalommatis's intellectually rigorous analysis of the Abyssinian historical failure is based on facts; above all his courage to speak the only truth – unlike his accusers.
Also I have predicted, based on this fact, that their claim serves otherwise. They repeat the same mistakes that their ancestors have done and their chauvinists compatriots are continuing to do. They don't learn from their mistakes!!
Dear Abebe Gelaw,
You have to understand that you and your Abyssinian dogmatic and ignorant colleagues don't learn at all. If you think that your lost cruel and authoritative powers (that have been snatched by your – and others’ – oppressors, the Tigreans) might return to you, your are continuing to repeat the same mistake, a dangerously venomous one.
You must learn from the historical facts! You must swallow that your ancestors have dehumanized us, and that your chauvinist elites are repeating the same 'one Ethiopian' story under the pretext of democracy.
Above all, don't try to demonize (which you can't) anyone who speaks truth, the only truth about your fabricated ideology of unity of Ethiopia or 'Ethiopians are one'. What does a Sidama have to do with you, unless we all agree to harmoniously co-exist with all the nations of the empire.
Do you think that we will continue to be lectured by you and your likes in the 21st century?
As your successive regimes did, and the current continues to do, you and your compatriots are making fatal mistakes. You have to swallow this fact; you need to know that there is no more time for silence whether the Professor writes or not.
I fully understand what publicity other nations are receiving because of his historical analysis that left the entire Abyssinians barefoot and pretty exposed; you have to understand that you can't obstruct freedom of expression.
The sons and daughters of the colonized nations will continue their stride to their independence and self-determination unless people like you are totally transformed with the changing global politics, and finally agree to respect human rights as well as self-determination.
Otherwise, you remain totally backward and ignorant, instead of aspiring good for all!

Part 4 – Rundassa Ashete Hunde, Oromian National Academy, proves Mr. Abebe Gelaw’s purposes false.
(For an earlier contribution by the Oromo intellectual, Mr. Rundassa Ashete: http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=24115)
Ato Abebe Nagenyii Haa-durssu!
Even though I have stayed away from reading anything written by an Abyssinian such as like you, I am forced to glance at your non-intellectual memo that reminded me the news published by A World Survey of Torture by Farrar, Strraus and Giroux in 1971. Please read it below, if you want to know how long we, the Oromians, have been suffering in the hands of our colonizers, Africa's most ignorant, migrated tribe.
I avoid reading anything written by an Abyssinian like you, because everything your brains produce creates in my mind this deep essence of depression as it reminds me the fact that we, the Oromians, are still suffering at the hands of those same fascistic Abyssinians, who cut off my great grand parents’ breasts and killed over 5 million innocent people, yet intelligent Cushitic Oromians who had so wisely crafted the Gadaa system and set those Oromian national Holy Days, such as Hirrechaa and Gubaa, plus the most wonderful Oromian calendar.
From the very day since Menelik's incursion into Oromia, your ancestors never stopped their practice of torturing the Oromians and killing thousands simply because they demanded freedom.
Just not too long time ago, Hailamariam Gammadaa was murdered, while Lieut. Mammoo Mazamir was hanged in Finfinnee, (in Tekle Haimanot avenue which is named after a Tigrean) simply because he spoke Afaan Oromo, the forbidden language.
You may also recall the killing of Gen. Tadassa Birruu and Col. Hailu Ragasaa whose pictures were shown on your ‘Ethiopian’ television in the early 1980s. You also may have heard of the murder of Goticha Helemo Qilxxu, Nadhii Gammadaa, Qes Gudina Tumsaa, Yonatan Isaq, Magarsaa Barii, Qamariaa Haajii, and many other thousands of dead men and women of Oromia who gave up on their lives, while challenging the Abyssinian occupation as the entire Oromo youth did just two years ago, when they were killed by the Tigre-Yohanisan tribe Agazi commandos.
You know, all those Oromians, who lost their lives while vigorously fighting the Abyssinian conquest, facilitated the emergence of a new political landscape that leads to the re-birth of millions of Oromo heroes who are too numerous for you to imagine.
If you have any doubt about that, just look back to the deeds of the 21st century Oromo generation, such as Obboo Diribii Damise, Ayalu Itisaa, and thousands of comrades who are currently languishing in Abyssinians’ jails and prisons, and suffering every day torture at the hands of the sons and the doubters of the Yohanis of Tigray.
When I am so proud of these Oromian heros, I am also equally proud of world's best men, like Dr. Shamsaddin, who is confronting the Abyssinian fascists with indomitably unconquerable sprit.
Nothing feels so great than reading the articulation of Dr. Shamsaddin.
Without the intellectual contribution of men like Dr. Shamsaddin, the coordination of the liberation struggle from all corners of Oromia and the world, the slogan of the youth " Nimonaa!" cannot become a reality.
Thanks to honest intellectuals of the world and to the heroic battle of the Oromo Liberation Army, Oromians’ genuine question is echoing from every corner of the world saying " Oromia shall be free"!
Simply put, Dr. Shamsaddin’s writings ring liberty and freedom, with their own unique tune, deep into our ears, as drums composed to become like a melodious song that one doesn't want to stop from hearing.
That being said, let me also assure you that Oromians’ struggle for liberation is taking concrete steps. Today, we speak Afaan Oromo without being ridiculed by your people, and we worship our Waqayyoo without being labeled as ‘Gallaa’ (pagans); our divided territories as Walloo, Wallaggaa, Jimmaa, Showa, Arsi, Ilu Abaa Bora, Harargee etc have gotten back their lost identity, "Biyya Oromo" or Orom-Biyyaa, thanks to those who wrote the truth about us.
Actually, we remember those bribed historians who have twisted every thing about you, and about us. Today however, your influence has been diminishing thanks to true intellectuals, even world's media reporting is improving as a result. Indeed, an era of practicality is being unfolded right in front of our eyes and an epoch of weakness and division among the Oromians is coming to a close-sure regardless of your people's relentless efforts.
A new era is beginning for us and dawning right as we are living it. Though I have no label for the era we moved in, yet I can say that this time might be the time in which we will be moving on from wanting to enslave one another to the level of mutual respect. Perhaps we can move from a 16th century practice of thinking of slavery as the best way of life to an attitude of reconciliation, following South Africa's example where minority stepped down from power and respected the rule of law whereby universalism and realism meet at the center to make a difference by being the subject matters that should preoccupy our minds and, in the process help us get rid off the slave / master relationship that we've had for 100 years.
I have to admit that this change or progress is perhaps visible only to those who are not blinded by the dream for a chance of having the political upper hand. At this point, what I see left for you to realize is to understand the meaning of Freedom, and if you just cannot understand that, I can certainly imagine that your attitude of hating the word " Oromo" will continue, and we will be then forced to fight that attitude.
Nagatti!

N. B. - Amnesty International
Report on Torture
Ethiopia
Emperor Haile Selassie, Africa's elder statesman, continues to rule Ethiopia as he has done continuously since 1941, when he returned from exile after the
liberation of his country from Italian occupation. His government faces unrest
from a number of directions - the insurgent Eritrean Liberation Front continues a guerrilla struggle for the secession of the northern Province of Eritrea from the rest of Ethiopia, student unrest has been rife, and there has been sporadic discontent amongst ethnic groups who resent the domination of Ethiopian political life by the Amhara people.
The Eritrean struggle has led to large scale detentions of civilians and reports of atrocities by Ethiopian troops against non-combatants in the area of armed struggle. The student unrest and ethnic discontent have led to charges of torture being made against the Ethiopian authorities. The first such reports to reach Amnesty from private sources date from 1967, when several leaders of the Mecha and Tulema Association, an ethnic organisation of the Galla tribe, were arrested and tried on charges of Plotting to overthrow the government. It was alleged that the Ethiopian police extensively tortured some of the accused in this trial over a period of six months in order to extract from them confessions to be used in court.
The tortures alleged included beatings, deprivation of sleep and food, and suspension from a rod. Subsequent to this torture several witnesses retracted in court what they claimed to be statements extorted under duress. Following the sentencing of the accused, ill treatment reportedly continued during their confinement to prison in Addis Ababa. The General Secretary of the Association, Haile Mariam Gemada, died in prison in 1969. His colleagues in the Association claim that the died as a result of torture, and was paralysed and bedridden for two years before his death. The Ethiopian authorities state that the died of 'natural causes' more recent allegations of torture by the Ethiopian police were reported by a reliable source soon after the arrest in February 1972 of a large number of students following disturbances at Haile Selassie I University in the
capital. First-hand reports were given of students who claimed to have been beaten by the police, and unverified descriptions of torture by electroshock and by the release of CS gas into windowless cells were reported. The government has not apparently investigated these allegations of torture, which are in direct
contradiction, which provides that 'No one shall be subjected to cruel and
inhuman punishment'.

Part 5 – Abebe Gelaw’s answer to Rundassa Ashete Hunde
Dear Sir,
I have no dispute about the rampant human rights violations being committed against Oromos, Amharas, Somalis etc. I have also no dispute about the fact that Ethiopia has never been fair to its citizens. Oppression and atrocities of any kind committed against Jews, native Americans, Oromos, Somalis, Amharas, Tigreans...are not acceptable at all. But the Egyptian formula of the nutty professor, may be well paid to do the shoddy job, will never be a solution. As a
"political scientist and historian" he should have known at ease that nation building anywhere in the world including the United States has never been a fair arrangement. States are the product of violence and force.... In my opinion any civilized human being has to make an effort to prevent atrocities any in kind against any human beings rather than preaching hatred against certain ethnic groups. You are entitled to believe and admire anything you like. But as far
as I am concerned the bogus doctor is a preacher of hate. Sorry for the inconvenience my views might have caused. I would not appreciate a reply as I am very busy with more serious matters than anything that doesn't deserve attention.
Regards,
Abebe

Part 6 – Oromo Intellectual Zalaalam Negassa decries Abebe Gelaw’s jumbled argumentation
Obbo Abbaba,
I understand you are busy with more important matters but I thought there
is a very important point you are missing in your critique of Prof. Megalommatis whom you have the audacity to call "the bogus doctor".
Let us look at one of your assertions.
"As a "political scientist and historian" he should have known at ease that nation building anywhere in the world including the United States has never been a fair arrangement. States are the product of violence and force" (Abebe Gelaw).
You seem to tell us
(a) that Ethiopia has been engaged in nation building;
(b) that it has succeeded in that endeavor just like the USA;
(c) that whatever violence and suppression that took place in the process did
not differentiate between the different groups in the empire.
Speaking of Ethiopia’s "nation building" exercise out of its colonies, to lump Oromos, Somalis, etc. and Amharas as victims in the same bag and to compare USA and Ethiopia is nothing but intellectual dishonesty.
First of all, Nation-building is a political exercise undertaken to create (because it does not already exist), foster and sustain a NATION out of multiple "nations, peoples or communities with otherwise different languages, cultures, customs and history, living in a political state." Nation-building is all about creating a new national-identity (Ethiopiawinet in Ethiopia’s case) for all people(s) within a territory.
This sometimes involves ensuring cultural and linguistic hegemony of one group or the colonizing nation. In the case of the Ethiopian empire, it is incontrovertible that the language and culture that was shoved down the throats of the colonized nations was that of the Amhara; hence lumping the Amhara as victims in the same bag as the Oromos, Somalis and other colonized nations is the apex of intellectual dishonesty.
I don’t believe Ethiopia, as a colonial empire, has ever seriously considered nation building. But, even if I accept the assertion by some that it has been engaged in nation-building for the last a hundred plus years, there is no escaping the conclusion that Ethiopia is a failed attempt at creating such a nation (national identity) out of nations and peoples she colonized. That Ethiopia stands shoulder-to-shoulder along with USSR and the likes is no longer much debated.
As Margaret Moore put it in her book The Ethics of Nationalism: "… states of Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia and Ethiopia have disintegrated along national lines."
Unlike the USA, Australia, etc, Ethiopia has failed miserably at creating a common national identity (Ethiopiawinet). This is reflected in the desire of Oromos, Sidamas, Ogadenis, Somalis, etc. to obtain and preserve their own geo-political autonomy and in their willingness to engage in warfare for that purpose. It is again, intellectual dishonesty to try and pass Ethiopia off as a nation who has succeeded in nation building like the USA.
Ethiopia choices are very obvious. To boldly accept her fate like the former USSR and allow the peoples to determine their destiny and hope for the best, or to try and stop the wheel of history and subject the region to more bloodshed and suffering like Yugoslavia - for what will inevitably happen.
Critics of Prof. Megalommatis Muhammad Shamsaddin miss this very important point.
Thanks.

Part 7 – Abebe Gelaw answers Oromo Intellectual Zalaalam Negassa’s criticism
Dear Zalaalam,
Thanks for your decent response. I share some of your views as Ethiopia has failed to be fair to all throughout its history. When I referred to nation-building, I am referring to the past that defined the borders of nations, as was the case in many parts of the world including Western countries that we opt to admire. That is why the new generation has to put an end to the age-old injustice and inequality in a unified manner rather than blaming the past and hate one another, which only prolongs the injustice we all love to hate. I have never been a defender and apologist for the injustice committed by Ethiopia's aristocrats and dictators, past and present.
However, I do not need an ignorant preacher of hate to tell me his insulting, distorted and grossly generalized version of history.
Having read and examined the emotive, mediocre and unintellectual "writings" of the bogus professor and preacher of hate, my views towards him remain the same. That is my right! I told him personally that he is free to scribble his Neo-Nazi junk. It is only a revelation of his hateful and chaotic mind. I think it is also a cry for help and attention from a tormented soul. I have just read his extremely long and boring profile on one of the free to publish diatribe
websites, may be buzz, including a long list of the teachers and professors who taught him. I feel sorry for this guy. I am waiting for part five of his endless
"refutation".
Unfortunately, this is my last reply as far as this case is concerned. But anyone is entitled to continue the debate.
Regards
Abebe

Part 8 – Rundassa Ashete Hunde (Oromian National Academy) denounces Addis Voice Editor Abebe Gelaw’s inability to debate
Well ! Well! Ato Abebe;
Let this response of mine be my last one as well, after dropping the following few lines.
First of all, I am not surprised by your so called "I am very busy with more serious matters than anything that doesn't deserve attention" slogan because this is what I have been use to hear from any Abyssinian who ended up being confronted with reality.
I remember another Ethiopian woman from Australia, jumping on the insulting task against Dr. Shamsaddin just recently, who when I confronted her with fact based questions, she wrote the same " I am very busy" slogan and departed.
What you are doing here is not so difficult for any body to figure it out. By ‘I am busy’ you are telling us that you have no fact based argument to make and thus, when facing a challenging situation, you all quickly resign from your Ethiopiyawinet rhetoric.
Yet, if in case you come across an opportunist Oromian, you would keep in touch with him/her, and use him/her as a tool to divide and conquer the Oromians.
This is a challenge though, as the opportunists we've had are already taken by the TPLF, and are named " OPDO".
Secondly, I think your major problem lies on the following fundamental metaphysics, when it comes to the issue of bragging about being a Western educated important man on one hand, and being a black African, who is so proud of one's heritage on the other. In-fact both being Western educated political scientist and being an Ethio-African, who owns rich culture and heritage, are a fundamentally reshaped thinking that has no ground, if we look at both concepts through the Oromians’ concept of " Identity".
To begin with, the Oromians are such a problem for the Western world’s dominant social institutions, for example, religion, politics, education, economics and so on. As you know, Oromians have had their own social system, the system that has been almost destroyed through their forced incorporation into the Ethiopiawinet identity.
For those who claim to be well educated in the Western world and also want to be an Ethiopian, I see a huge problem in their minds because, first, Ethiopia has nothing of her own aside from borrowing religion, calendar, language, philosophy, and outlook from the West on one side. Yet, the West itself, especially America, has nothing of its own, indigenous philosophy, pedagogy or system on the other.
The Oromians’ question is not about echoing Western terminologies, such as nation-building on the basis of the Western world outlook, or implementing Greek terminology (" Democratia"). The Oromians’ question is about liberating and re-building indigenous norms, values, most fundamentally, their own metaphysics.
Why do the Oromians want to go back to their own old systems?
Western world’s religions and governmental systems, which the Abyssinians have borrowed, are the knowledge that has been scorned from the Cush people, the Oromians.
We've read and heard all the claims that complex mixture of folklore, religious doctrine and natural sciences are the highest intellectual achievements of White species; this is nothing but witnessing Westerners’ arrogance, produced by their racists, who taught black Amharas and Tigres that God and Angels are white, and that they are portrayed as white on the walls of the Ethiopian Orthodox churches while black man's portrait was drawn as a devil. In fact, if we go deep into their bibles, we find the history of black curse because of a black Pharaoh offending Moses or because Black Cain killing White Abel.
Even after all the misleading propaganda and the savage killing of the Berberians, the Cush Nation (the Oromians) have awaken to the fact that they possess considerable knowledge about the natural world regardless of whatever the Western and the Abyssinians have said about the Oromian culture being gross, savage and superstitious.
So, we the Oromians want to recapture some of the most important institutions built by our grandfathers concerning politics, military, religion, government, agriculture, cultivation or cattle keeping. Especially, Western world religious traditions have either vanished or swamped in reactionary fundamentalism; so do their followers, such as the Ethiopians, who used to follow Greek Orthodox rites when Greeks used to be powerful, then Catholic rites when the Italians were influential, then Protestant rites when Britain took the rank of power, and now Pentecostalists when America is the superpower.
Needless to say, fluctuating between a recognition of fake, borrowed identity, outlook or religion is simply unsettling and nonproductive because it does not attribute to Africanism any consistency, nor does it suggest that borrowed views - be they of the natural world or religious reality - had anymore correspondence and compatibility with Western religion and science.
In short, Oromians’ metaphysics is about the realization that the world, and all its possible experiences, social reality, and fabric of life have the possibility of intimate relationship because, ultimately, everything is interrelated. Simply put, the Oromians have their own way of making sense of the world they live in, and then Western style forceful nation-building is incompatible with their philosophy and hence with the Ethiopians.
From now on, I will be busy, because I have very important thing to do!

Part 9 – Oromo Intellectual Zalaalam Negassa answers back
Obbo Abbaba,
I wish your responses to Prof. Megalommatis were as decent as mine was to
you. As you have acknowledged his rights to speak his mind, it goes without saying that I acknowledge yours too. But why the rain of insults and put downs on him when you can challenge his views? Why try to crucify him just because his version of Abyssinian history differs from yours?
When will you guys forgo your bully behavior and learn to listen and tolerate other point of views? You seem to be unable to distinguish between ideas and the person as you are obviously unable to discuss the ideas without insulting the person.
Goodbye Obbo Abbaba.

Part 10 – Oromo Intellectual Abdu Abebe rejects the Abebe Gelaw Fallacy.
Dr Mohammad,
Thank you so much for revealing so many hidden historical facts that the Abyssinian colonizing power has been perpetrating against the indigenous peoples in the name of Ethiopia.
Your papers are contributing much to the world's perception of the term Ethiopia and Ethiopianism that should be reanalysed.
Abebe Gelaw and his likes do not dare to hear not only about Free Oromia, but even the word Oromo, it irritates them.
They think that they will succeed to stay on power, colonizing the Oromo people for generations to come just by covering Oromo’s true history and its national identity.
Abyssinians’ mindsets toward the Oromo people haven’t changed to this day. They are still denigrating, derogating, dehumanizing and destroying the Oromo’s reputation in all areas of life.

Part 11 – Oromo Intellectual Akana Tumsa undercores Abebe Gelaw’s Barbarism
"If you are a real intellectual, as you pretend, preach love, reconciliation, peace and forgiveness. "
Alas!
Mr. Abebe, you don't even know that real intellectualism emerges from understanding the truth?

Part 12 – Epilogue of Part I
As there are still many contributions to be published, I terminate Part I here; in the forthcoming Part II, I will include the rest of the contributions, my answer and comments.
Here, I want to express my deepest thanks to this debate participants, who through so many different approaches and viewpoints demonstrated the cruel, corrupt, inhuman and alien character of the Amhara apologists of Anti-African Hatred, Racism and Venomous Hysteria.
To you all, I dedicate the verses of the famous lyrics Angelitos Negros (Angels … in Black) from the homonymous movie (1948 – with Pedro Infante interpreting) – a slight modification of the great poem of the Venezuelan Humanist, Poet, Author, Lawyer and Statesman, Andrés Eloy Blanco.
Pintor nacido en mi tierra
con el pincel extranjero,
pintor que sigues el rumbo
de tantos pintores viejos.
Aunque la virgen sea blanca
pintale angelitos negros
que tambien se van al cielo
todos los negritos buenos.
Pintor, si pintas con amor
por que desprecias su color,
si sabes que en el cielo
tambien los quiere Dios.
Pintor de santos y alcobas
si tienes algo en el cuerpo,
por que al pintar tantos cuadros
te olvidaste de los negros.
Siempre que pintas iglesias
pintas angelitos bellos,
pero nunca te acordaste
de pintar un angel negro.
