- Brain: The left hemisphere of the brain lies in the left side of the body. The left hemisphere of the brain is side to be rational side of the brain. It responds to verbal instructions, solving problems logically, sequentially joining different parts, make out differences, planning and structuring. - Left Eye: The pair of eyes is one of the most delicate structures of our body. They help us envision the world and are responsible of sending 4/5th of the information to our brain. - Left Ear: The pair of ears help translate the innumerable sounds around us. The ear is made of many anatomical structures like auricle, extrermal auditory meatus, tymphanic memebrane, middle ear, ossicles, malleus, incus, stapes, round window, inner ear, semi-circular canals, cochlea, eustachian tube and cochlear nerve. The nose is a complex structure that has a smooth bony constriction in the front that is smaller in diameter than a finger. - Lung: The lung is an organ of respiration. There are two lungs in human body. - Esophagus: The musculomembranous canal, about nine inches in length (25 to 30 cm) that extends from the pharynx to the abdomen is called the esophagus. This organ lies mostly to the left side of the body thus making it an organ of the left side of the body.
- Stomach: The sac-like structure that is the organ for digestion is located on the left side of the abdomen. Thus, the stomach is one of the organs in left side of body.
- Pancreas: The pancreas is located behind the stomach across the abdomen. The 6 inch long organ has its head on the right side of the abdomen and the narrow end called the tail extends to the left side of body. Thus, pancreas are also organs on left side of body.
- Spleen: The organ where lymphocytes are created for destroying and recycling old blood cells is known as spleen. It is located on the upper-left side of the body. So, spleen too is a part of organs on left side of body.
- Kidney: There are two small organs that are the filtration machines of the body, that filter urea, mineral salts, toxins and other waste products from the blood. One of the two kidneys is located in the left side of body. Thus, the bean-shaped kidney is a part of organs on left side of body.
- Large Intestine: The large intestine is the part that is found between the small intestine and anus. It is divided into caecum, colon and rectum. The caecum arises from the lower right side and ascends then transverses and descends into parts of colon that enter the lower left side of rectum. Thus, a part of the large intestine, the rectum is present in the left side of body, making it one of the organs on left side of body.
- Ovaries and Testes: These organs of reproduction in men and women are two in number. One of the ovaries and one of the testis are found on the left side of body. Therefore, ovaries and testis are also organs on left side of body.
- Skin: One of the largest organs of the human body, obviously is found covering all the other parts and organs of the human body. Thus, making it one of the largest part of human body, left side organ.
