Open Your Eyes

I wrote this one a while ago, and just found it again.. Its kinda cool...
And with that everlasting pain
Comes the realization of an innocence slain
They look at you like you’re a disgrace
And you can only wonder why their hate is so misplaced
But what does it matter, when it’s all summed up?
Your blood pours over the edge of the earth and drips into a cup
A collection of the world’s most hated sins
Is where the mutiny ends, or begins
An injustice is wrought under cover of dark
The terror beats inside, burning, leaving a mark
Whatever you do, don’t give up yet
We will never forgive, and we will never forget.
