Only If It Was Real

A poem from my heart
Only if it was real I would be a girl
That everyone loves
I use music to run away from my problems
I have friends in the corner of my room.

I cry tears of hate
I cry tears of broken love
Only if it was real I would live
I would be free from all this pain
That I gained.

You treated me like trash
I hide my pain when I go out
I think to myself
'Only if it was real, He would be here by my side'

You tore me apart from the world once knew
I hold myself together with nothing but pain
Please tell me I'm not losing myself
