One Last Kiss Chapter 12

After I lost the baby I was constantly trying to move on. Adrian was caring and loving and I felt like I was committed to him in some way. For all this time he was so supportive like nobody else. There was nothing he could do wrong. He was perfect in every way.

Sometimes I wished I could figure out the end of this story.

One day I stopped by the florist shop and saw the bunch of buberries.

"What's wrong?" Adrian asked me.

"Nothing. Just memories." I said thinking about all the great times with Amar.

Always when I see something that remain me of Amar I am trying to picture myself how different my life might have been. I loved Adrian and it was more important. Sometimes I thought that Adrian was too good for me and I didn't deserve him but I do. I love him and it is just too embarrassing and it was hard to forget about all this wonderful moments that happened between me and Amar. The time we spend beneath the tree, learning from each other. Making love.

"Are you sure you want to be with Adrian when you still clearly thinking about Amar?" Louise asked me one day.

"Yes. Maybe thats what supposed to happened. Maybe he is this mysterious Mr. Right that came to release me from all this pain and unhappined I experienced after Amar left me. I feel that in some way he is right for me "

"Right. Do you love him?"

"Sure" I said and she chuckles.

"What? Whats that funny?"

"You didn't mean it"

"I did." I was arguing.

"NO you did not. When you love somebody you not say just Sure"

"Oh my god maybe you right .... I might be still in love with Amar" I felt shocked

"Don't worry about that. I understand that perfectly."

"What do you understand?"

"Its totally normal that you are still in love with the fist guy you've ever been with. All of your feeling will pass soon you'll see." Louise said .

Althought the time was passing by and my feelings remained. I missed Amar and I wished I could get back with him only if I could. But he was in Pakistan. Probably married to some other woman. It was too late. It was over.

One day Adrian took me on a three day trip to Wales to visit his parents. I have never been anywhere in Wales so I was pretty much replying on Adrian. When we finished our journey he opened the doors for me .

"We are home" He said" This is my parents house" The house was old but well groomed and expensive looking. When we entered the house I saw Adrian's mum coming out of the kitchen.

"Hi mum" Adrian said

"Hi sweetheart. We missed you so much"

"I'm sorry mum this is my girlfriend Julia" He introduced me to her.

"Hi Mrs. Parkinson its nice to meet you" I said .

"Hello Julia. Great to finally meet you. We've heard so much about you" I smiled .

"What are you driving here? a Honda?"

"Oh yes its Civic."

"Sure. I like the colour. You pick it?" She asked me I smiled

"No Adrian did"

"Let me take you luggage and come sit with us to the living room" She said and took our luggage's. Adrian helped her. When we entered the living room I saw a couple of people around. Adrian introduced me to everyone.

"I really like your hairstyle" Chloe said

"Thanks" I smiled at he." Your is very posh" I complemented her back

"Looking good" Michael came up to us

"Feeling good" Adrian said

"Who is this beautiful lady and what the hell is she doing with you?" Michael joked

"This is Julia shes my girlfriend" Adrian said. I smiled to him

"Its nice to finally see you again man. When was the last time I saw you?"

"About two years ago when you came with my parents to the village?"

"Oh yeah. I remember that."

"So how have you been recently? Done anything new?"

"Ehhh not really. Life sucks. I splited with Angela instead"

"Really? I'm so sorry to hear that. Whats happened?"

"I don't know really. Apparently I wasn't a good boyfriend material."

"So how long was it since...?"

"Two years "

"Two years? Oh Gosh"

"Yeah. Still cannot believe it happened."

"I'm so sorry to hear that man. You'll meet someone You'll see"

"How do you know that?"

Adrian freezed for a moment" I don't know. I'm just trying to be supportive"

I looked around the room. Everybody were so happy. I stared at Adrian for a second seeing how happy he was. The pieces of conversation battered my ears. After a couple of minutes I saw Michael go.

"It was nice to meet you Julia" He said

"There's some place I'd like to show you" Adrian said

"Are we not staying here?" I asked

"We'll back soon, common, follow me"

He took the boat from his father and we were swimming with all these beautiful landscapes and swans around. It amazed me. I have to agree the atmosphere around was romantic.

"I used to spend a lot of time here when I was a child" Adrian whispered

"Why are we here?" I could feel that something wasn't exactly right

"Listen Julia. I cannot wait any longer" Adrian said stopped paddling.

"What are you doing". He browse his pocket.

"Will you marry me?" He asked and took out a little white box.

"What?" I said and all of the sudden it started to rain. "Oh god" I smiled

"I think you need to marry me" He then continued

"I do? Why?" I asked

"Because in that way you will not disappoint your parents and I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you So please make me the happiest man on the planet." He said

"Well I think you overestimated their sentiment to you."

"You think so?" He asked.

"Mmmm kind of yes You will have to ask them first"

"There are not problems with that" He smiled

"Why not?"

"Because I've already had this conversation and they both say yes."

"Really?" I was surprised "My parents?"

"Yes. They must really love me so will you marry me?" He asked again.

"Yes" I said and jumping at him. We kissed.

"Its beautiful" I said wearing the ring

"Its suites your eyes" He complemented me

"Thank you" I smiled.

As the time went on later that day Adrian was spoiling me with flowers and chocolate.

"So do you want to talk about the wedding?" He leaned forward to hug me.

"A wedding?" I asked .

"Yes the wedding"

"Don't you think its a little bit early yet" I said. I thought it was a little bit early to discuss about wedding plans.

"I don't know" He smiled

"We will have a lot of time to make a plans yet. Lets not think about this for a second okay?"

"Sure as you wish"

Julia wasn't sure if she wanted to get married soon. She simply wasn't ready for such a big commitment. The only reason why she said Yes was because she loved Adrian and didn't wanted to hurt his feelings in any way.
