Once Upon a Dream Chapter 7

"Good Morning Lesley" I said. " Oh Umm Hi Lexis" She said. " Umm What’s up?" I asked. " Stop with the umms your making this conversation awkward" She shouted. I Looked at her shocked. "Lesley what is your problem?" I asked. " You, Your just a loser why are you even staying here?" She questioned. "I’m staying here because I have no where to go, Now stop being a bitch" I yelled. Lesley started crying. " Lesley I’m sorry Babe" I said. I didn’t know where all these mood swings were coming from suddenly but they were driving me crazy. I Walked over to her and hugged her. "I don’t know what to do Lexis" She cried. " Whoa Lesley I’m not even sure were on the same page" I Said. "Lexis the baby, I don’t know if she’s safe" She cried. I kissed her forehead. "The baby is going to be okay, us three will be fine" I assured her. She immediately stopped crying. URG mood swings. She finally hugged back. "Okay" Said Lesley and with that everything was all better.
8 Months later…

Lesley’s P.O.V…
I’v been trying to wake up Lexis for about an hour now. Who knew this guy could sleep so much. "LEXIS WAKE UP" I yelled. I saw him twitch and then he fell right back asleep. This was pointless. I went downstairs and ate breakfast alone. AGAIN. Everyday now he would sleep in. It’s unlike him to be like this. Something had to be up…Was he getting tired of me? Was I really that boring? Oh well I will just talk to him when he gets up. I heard footsteps down the stairs as I put my plate in the sink. "Morning beautiful" He said. "Morning Lexis" I said back. "What’s for breakfast" he asked. "Lexis don’t you mean what’s for lunch?" I asked back. He looked at the clock. The shot an apology glance at me. "Lesley, I’m sorry, I’ll try to wake up earlier" Lexis said with a smile. " You said that yesterday and the day before, I spend an hour trying to wake you up every morning" I yelled. Now he looked really sorry. I had known this guy along time how could a couple months change so much? I mean did he even really care about me or is he going to ditch me after the baby is born? "Lesley I’m sorry" He said. " Your sorry for what Lexis, What are you sorry for?" I Shouted. "I’m leaving you, I’m no good for you" He said.

3 months before…
Lesley’s dream…
"Lexis what are you sorry for?" I asked. " I’m leaving you I’m not good for you nor the baby" He said. "No I don’t want you to go" I cried. " I’m Leaving goodbye" He said and left.
Back to reality…

Lexis you can’t leave I need you here and so does the baby" I said. " No you don’t need me and the baby is better off with out me" He said then left. Well what am I to do now. I’m all alone and no father for this baby. To late to kill her. I rubbed my belly slowly humming a tune. I had no idea what to do. Then there was a knock on the door. I went to open it. I was hoping it was Lexis coming back but it was. I didn’t believe my eyes there stood Nat. He had a bunch of roses in his hand. "Hello Lesley" He said. "Oh mi god Nat what are you doing here?" I asked. He handed me the flowers. " I brought you some flowers, I figure maybe we could go out tonight, Like friends maybe?" He asked. I looked in to his eyes. "No tricks or pranks involved?" I asked. " No tricks or pranks involved" He said back. "Sure, Would you like to come in for a bit?" I asked. "But won’t Lexis get mad?" He asked. " Me and Lexis aren’t together it’s just me and Vanessa" I answered. "it’s a girl?" He asked. " Yes anyway would you like to come in" I asked again. " Sure" He said. We went in to my living room. Nat sat down in my arm chair. " Would you like anything?" I asked. "No I’m fine thanks anyway" He answered. I sat down on the couch. "So how have you been?" Nat asked. "I’m fine actually" I answered. "That’s good… Umm Lesley we need to talk" Nat said.

What could he want to talk to me about? "Umm sure" I said. "Lesley I love you, I always have but, I was jealous of Lexis and I didn’t want to be mean like that I apologize, I should have never done that" He said. I starred at him. Did he say he loves me? WOW. " Y-y-you love me?" I asked with tears in my eyes. " Yes Lesley, Please don’t be upset I understand you love Lexis" Nat said with a small frown. I got up and hugged him. " I’m not mad Nat" I said. "Umm okay" He said. " I love you to" I said.

4 years later…
"Nessa time to get up" I yelled. I hear her stir and walk down the stairs. "Morning mommy" she said. I grabbed her brush and did her hair in a nice pony tail. "Mommy where’s daddy?" She asked. " He’s at work he left early this morning" I said with guilt. Me and Nat had been together since Lexis left that morning. I never told Vanessa about him. I didn’t have an idea how to tell her that one morning we talked and then he got up and left. Never to return."Will daddy be back tonight?" She asked. "Yes he should be home at 5 sweetie" I said. " Okay bye mommy" She said. She grabbed her school bag and ran out the door.
