Once Upon A Dream Chapter 8

I went upstairs to grab all the dirty laundry. As I did the laundry I hear a knock on the door. Who could possibly be visiting now? I opened the door. Suddenly I dropped everything. I didn’t believe who was there. I hugged him tightly and started crying. "Sush it’s okay, I’m here Lesley, I love you and I’m never leaving again" He said. He wrapped his arms around me securely. "Lexis, Nat comes home at 5 you have to be gone then and I don’t think Nessa will understand" I said with tears pouring from my eyes. "Who’s Nessa?" He asked. "S-s-she’s you daughter" I coughed out. "Oh…Don’t you think she should know her father?" Lexis asked. "She does know her father, It’s called the guy who looked after her for four years of her life" I shouted. Lexis jumped at my voice. "Please Lesley I had to get help straighten things out alittle but I’m all better now, No worries" Lexis said with a smile. I hugged him again. I couldn’t help it I might be mad but…I think I still love him. A lot. Lexis was still my world. Nat was more like a replacement that didn’t really do that good of a job. We kept hugging for a bit but then the door opened. It was Vanessa. "Mommy I missed the bus" She said with a frown. I looked at her face pulling out of Lexis hug. Walked over to Nessa and hugged her. "Sweetie that’s three days in a row what’s going on?" I asked. "Nothing important mommy, May I please just go to my room?" She asked ever so politely. "Okay but we’re going to talk about this later" I said. "Sure mommy" She said and zoomed up the stairs. Lexis smiled at Nessa as she ran. "She missed school because she was picked on and then other kids told her that if she tells they would find her" Lexis said his posture changing to a frown. "How do you know?" I asked. "Did you forget about being a vampire, You can read minds so can I you just use it to block everything" Lexis said. He was right I had forgotten. He hugged me tightly again. "Lexis I can’t do this I’m with Nat now" I said. "No your not, He only stayed with you because I paid him to" Lexis said. Nat walked in the door. Sorry Lesley but I don’t really like you" He said. Then in walked sluty Mariah. She wrapped her arm around him. Everything I had been living for the past 6 year had been a lie. Everything that was going right had just turned wrong. Lexis kissed me. I kissed him back. All I could do after that was keep kissing him. What I realized now was I couldn’t let him leave again. I wrapped my arms around him tightly. I held him close. He was my love the thing I had been missing forever. I hadn’t felt this in the 6 years that he had been gone. I would miss him to much. Lexis pulled away. "Babe I won’t leave you no more, I got the help I needed I’m going to be a better man" He said. I believed him. "So I guess were officially over Nat?" I asked. "Baby we never started" Nat said with a smile. He kissed Mariah pushing her in to the wall by the doorway. We all heard little footsteps. "Daddy?" Nessa said going up to Lexis pulling on his shirt. "yes Nessa?" Lexis asked "I don’t have to pretend anymore right?" She asked ever so softly. "Not anymore sweetie, Not anymore" He said. I gave them a confused look. Nat and Mariah were still kissing in the door way. Nessa looked at them. "Break it up you two gross" she said. I laugh. "Mommy it’s not funny they should be doing stuff like that in private not in front of me" She said. I guessed Lexis stayed in contact with Vanessa through mind. So he has been there for her all along. "NAT MARIAH BREAK IT UP" Lexis shouted at them. Mariah jump and hit her head on Nat’s nose. Nat yelled "OWW". Lexis chuckled. "Go home you two" Lexis said. With that Nat and Mariah Were gone. I hugged Lexis And Nessa. They hugged me back. "Ice cream?" Nessa asked. "Sure" Lexis said. And with that we left for Ice cream.
