Oh...... Where Is My Cat?
A short poem about the heartbreak a missing pet can bring?
When they get lost?
Missing for days and days,
Perhaps they’re hiding away from me,
Or playing with friends, in large grassy leys,
Why do cats go
So far from home?
Missing for days and days,
I fret and worry, they maybe snatched,
Or suffering and hurt, in far grassy leys.
If my cats go
Far away from me,
Missing for days and days
I frantically search all over the place,
Calling their names, in long grassy leys.
When my cats go
On adventures long,
Missing for days and days,
Do they think of their comfortable home?
And what do they eat, in dry grassy leys?
How do cats go?
Many miles away?
Missing for days and days,
Then return to their beds, none the worse,
After living for weeks, in cold grassy leys.
