Oh The Fears

The feeling I want to feel...
The fears I felt when I saw your eyes a deep and burning fire
It shook my heart, it pierced my soul, it rekindled my desire
I tried to run, I tried to hide but your gaze grew even closer
I didn't want to become a slave and love become my master
Further I went and colder I tried to convert my heart to be
But love still had a hold on me and past my masks you see
You told me of the love you felt and the deep burning desire
When you glanced at my face, and my smile sparked a fire
You knew my fears and held me hear, but I never wanted to say
Those words that make me small and weak and forever chained to stay
You knew my heart, you knew my thoughts, you told me I’d be free
You told me you loved me and would love me for eternity.
