(Joslyn Miller) Chloe is now 14 and her love for soccer is being stopped when there is no soccer at her new school. So she has to join the boys team, how will these boys treat her?
Hey!
SO! I had such a good idea I couldn't help BUT write! :D
This one is dedicated to Vivian! :) Since she seems awesome, betw the answer to your question is I'm 16. (soon to be 17) And actually have a friend named Hilary that this happened to but this book will obviously not be true because it isn't fourteen years later. haha.
Hope you guys like.
If you don't... than just don't read. Simple as that.
Love,
Joslyn Miller

'One more, Chloe.' Dad told me and kicked the ball to me. I eyed the goal with intensity and I power kicked the ball into the goal. 'Good Job kid.' I sighed, loving the rush that soccer gave me. My dad came over and put his arm around my shoulders as we walked to the car.
'Yeah, I can't wait to get on a team.' I say looking down at my soccer ball in my hands.
'We can go get you signed up right now. Come on.' he said as we hopped into the car. Mom, just got a new job in Eddyville for teaching a first grade class so I had to transfer to the local middle school. 8th grade was almost over but at least this job for mom gave us more money. We got to the community center were you sign up and I smiled as I came to the front desk.
'Hi, I would like to sign up for the girls soccer team.' I tell her. The older lady looked at me from under her glasses and sighed.
'I'm sorry but we don't have a girls soccer team.' she tells me in a dead tone. I thought she was joking at first so I let out a little laugh and when she looked back at me strangely I knew it was the truth.
'Your joking right?' I ask her.
'No.' she shakes her head.
'Dad,' I turn around. 'what do I do?'
'Ma'am?' he asks the woman. 'do you have any soccer teams here?'
'We have a boys soccer team-'
'I'll sign up for that then.' I say quickly before she finished.
'I don't think you understand the label of BOYS' she was annoyed.
'You don't understand I need a soccer teem.' I said sternly back.
'Fine.' she says after a long moment of hesitation. 'go to the practice and see what the coach says. Fill out these papers first though.' she says handing me them. I quickly scribbled down my information and handed it back to her.
'Thank you.' I say softly.
'Next practice is tomorrow at 5:00-6:30 pm.' she tells me turning to her computer. I walk out the building skipping.
'I'm so happy!' I smile at my dad.
'Just make sure you tell me if any of those boys hurt you, Chloe.' he stops me.
'Dad, i'm stronger than you think.' I say rolling my eyes.
'You get that from your mother.' he constantly reminds me. That night I could barely sleep and kept looking over at my soccer ball. I couldn't wait to stun these boys.

Next Day.

'Hey mom!' I say cheerfully coming down the stars and slipped into a stool of the breakfast bar.
'Hello darling.' my mother slipped some chocolate chip pancakes in front of me, my favorite. I ate them rather quickly so I could go watch the game with dad. Most of our stuff was still in boxes from moving here four days ago but Dad made sure to get the TV set up just in time for the big game. I sat on the edge of the seat, watching as the next move made the team get another point.
'YES!' I cheer.
'Shoot.' Dad and I had a bet going on 10 bucks so far I was winning. When time rolled around, I went upstairs and pulled my long brown/reddish hair into a pony tale and looked into my green eyes in the mirror. This was it... soccer time. I got my gear on and ran to the car were mom was waiting to take me. It felt like forever getting there even though the soccer field wasn't THAT far away, I couldn't wait. When I got out of the car and ran over to the soccer field I saw them. Most were tall and muscular for 14-15 year-old boys. About 75% of them had dark hair and the rest had dirty blonde. I just smirked. This was going to be fun. I walked up to the coach and the first question was asked.
'Who is she and what is she doing here?' A medium tall boy with dirty blonde hair asked.
'Jackson, shut up.' the coach said simply. He blew the whistle calling all the guys in and they came all staring.
'GUYS! As you know our town doesn't have a girls soccer team so we will be having a girl on our team. Her name is Chloe. She's new to the town, so be nice. NOW BACK TO WORK.' he says. The boys start running off back onto the field and I feel someone tap on my shoulder. I turn to see an extremely handsome boy, tall, blue eyes with shabby brown hair.
'Hey, I'm Kolbi. Welcome.' he smiled. I couldn't help but smile back,
'Thanks, Chloe well I guess you already know that don't you.' I babble.
'Yeah, I do.' he chuckled.
So he was cute.
But I'm not going to let that get in my way of winning.
