Oh Baby! (11)

Bad luck but cliff hanger. haha.
Hey you guys.
I let the tension build :)
I had to reply to the comments this time.
COMMENT TIME! :
Your Mom: First, nice name. Second, I'm not forcing you to comment but I would like it if you would :)

Sandra: She doesn't want to tell him all the stuff because right now what she wants is advice. Not being told. 'no baby it's okay' you know? She needs advice not comfort.

Mandy: haha thank you. And I hope you like the story as you keep reading.

Emily: Well, think about it. He is seeing his girlfriend and best friend sneaking around behind his back. Talking. He didn't understand. When you're that angry, you don't want an explanation. your way to upset.

Trika- Well He cares about Hilary and Chloe both. Not just his kid.

HOPE YOU LOVE,
Joslyn Miller

I kicked the ball as hard as I could into the soccer net. Then the next ball. Then the next ball. I kicked it so hard I slipped on the dewy grass and fell on my back in pain but I didn't move. I just laid there watching the sun come up. I'd been out here for about an hour. I couldn't sleep after I found Hilary and Toby together. I was angry but now my anger was over. I was now moving onto the phase of sadness. I laid on the grass and remembered the first time we went to see what gender Chloe was going to be. The way Hilary's eyes lit up when she looked at the picture. Than to the ice cream shop when Peter had to be an ass and how upset she was when she said that Peter was right about her being a slut.

'Alex.' I recognized that voice. I got up in a flash, glaring at him.

'Alex, calm down and hear me out.' Toby defended. I looked down defeated.

'Fine.' I mumbled.

'The first night Hilary came to the pool she was really upset and I was there doing my nightly swim when she was drowning. I saved her and we started to talk. She came back every night after that. She just needed someone to talk to Alex. Someone other than you. She talked about you so much. She was really upset about something.'
'What things.' I asked curious.

'She always talked about how independent she is and how no one in her family ever needed a guy. But when you came along and you two got together she thought you were the sweetest, nicest guy. But she feels as though she isn't good enough for you. That she isn't popular enough, pretty enough, awesome enough.' he said. It broke my heart that she thought that of herself. 'in her way of speaking' he added.

'You didn't put any moves on her did you?' I snapped

'No. Dude. If you would have been talking to me lately you would have known that I have a girlfriend myself.' he said with a little chuckle.

'What now?' I asked looking around the soccer complex.

'Go talk to her.' he said like it was a given answer. I slowly smiled and my brain started racing.

'Right.' I say looking around.

'Car.' he reminded.

'Right!' I say handing him the last soccer ball. 'Thanks, you're the man!' I run to the nearly empty parking lot. I ran to my car and got in. I turned the engine on but it clicked.

'EMPTY! REALLY! NOW?!' I asked to no one. I got out of my car and saw Toby. 'What do I do?!' I yell.

'RUN!' he says pointing in the direction of town. So I did. I ran. I thought it would be faster to run through fields so I did. I ran and ran through the tall grass. I grew tired but I didn't stop. The thought of Hillary kept me going. I couldn't stop if I wanted to. I needed her. I shouldn't have yelled. I shouldn't have assumed. I should have listened. I shouldn't have been so angry. I jumped the fence of someone's farm and trip and fell. But I didn't just fall. I fell into cow droppings. Wow. Like anything else could happen it starts to rain. At least it washed off the cow droppings off my shirt.... but it did create a muddy mess when I tried to run. I finally got to the outskirts of town and just ran like a maniac. I probably looked like I was crazy. A boy, in a soccer uniform sweaty, running, covered in mud and smelling like cow droppings. I got to her house and took a deep breath. Here I go I hop up the steps and rang the door bell.

'Yes?'
