Hilary's P.O.V.

'Mmmmm' I moan as I get up and realized I had passed out in the bathroom of my friends house. Crazy party last night, I thought. It was morning. I look down and I'm naked. NAKED?! I look around to see.... ALEX?!
'ALEX?!' I yell. We were both naked on the floor.
'Hmm?' he asked sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "EW!' he said as soon as he saw me. I quickly got up and picked up my clothes putting them on quickly.
'WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!' I asked him.
'I'm guessing we had sex!' he says back. I stop with my jeans on and my shirt half way on, giving him a no-der look.
'NO DAH!' I say. 'But.... with you?!' I say gagging.
'I didn't wanna do it either.' he said. 'but you probably want it. I mean. look at this face.' he said smile a big, corny, smile. I made a disgusted sound and rolled my eyes.
'Your so full of yourself.' I say just about heading for the bathroom door. I turn back to him, who was still naked. 'and by looking at you right now, you didn't use protection. So thanks for probably getting me pregnant, idiot!' I say leaving.
I remember this night as I was sitting on my putting a protective touch on my stomach. I was 5 months pregnant and haven't told Alex yet. I have been wearing baggy clothes, covering my bump. I didn't care if this was Alex's baby too... I still love the baby.
'Hilary! Time for school!' my mother yelled. I sat up and went out to the car. My mom took it pretty well, saying she was going to help me with the baby when it comes, I can't wait to see the beautiful baby, hopefully they have my looks... not Alex's. I stepped out of the car at the school, and look who is waiting for me?
'Ah, Hilary.' Alex said. 'Look at what the fatty is wearing today?' he says coming up with his group of friends and putting his arm around my shoulders and put his hand on my stomach patting it. I pulled away suddenly.
'Don't touch me there!' I snap. His friend and him laughed.
'Look whose P-M-Sing.' he laughed. They looked at me for my reaction. and trust me... they got one.
'I am not P-M-Sing. Because I can't. I haven't for five months and won't be for another four. Because someone fucked me up. So unless you want to mess with a pregnant lady, than I would back off.' I say. He looked confused at first but then it went to complete shock. His friends 'OHHH'ed at my burn to him and I leaned forward and said soft enough for only him to hear,
'Thanks for getting me pregnant.' I said. I just walked away pulling my back pack farther up on my shoulder.
Third period I was walking until I got pulled into a closet.
'What the he-' I said but I looked up to see Alex standing there. 'What do you want?' I ask.
'Why didn't you tell me?' He asked.
'What?' I asked stupidly.
'Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?' He pleaded. This was a side of him I have never seen before. I looked at him kind of softly. We always fought and never liked each other but this time... there was something about him that made me nice to him.
'I didn't know how to tell you.' I say looking down at my converse.
'Oh.' he said looking away as well. 'Well, I wish you would have told me earlier.' I looked at him.
'I didn't know if you wanted you to be in the baby's life.' I say softly again.
'Of course I do!' he said. That shocked me. I thought he wouldn't want to be and we stood there in silence for a while. 'Do you know if it is a boy or girl yet?' he said looking back at me.
'I'm going tonight to find out.' I say quietly.
'Oh.' was the only thing he could say.
'Would you like to come?' I ask.
'Yes, please.' he said. 'I'll take you after school' he was looking away again. I wonder what was going through his mind.
'Okay.' I say slipping out of the room. For the rest of the day, Alex was staring at me. I found him after school in the parking lot and he said quickly,
'Get in the car.' I looked at him. He didn't even say it nicely. I did and we rode in silence. 'Do you want to know the gender?' I asked.
'Of course.' he said. there was a moment of silence. 'Why? Did you think I didn't want to?'
'Well, I didn't know if you cared.' I said looking out the window.
'Of course I care! It's my baby!' He says in defense and I knew that a fight was coming on.
'It's my baby too.' I said looking at him, raising my voice.
'I'm not that heartless, to not care.' he says.
'I care about the baby too!' I say. We were at our boiling points but thankfully he was at the hospital already and I got out of the car quickly and started walking in. I heard him run up to walk alongside me. We walked in and waited for the doctor in silence.
'I don't know if I want you to see my stomach.' I say breaking the silence. He huffed.
'Oh I have seen more than that...Sadly' he said. I turned to him.
'Hey, seeing that tiny thing you call a dick isn't so nice either, and if you would have had protection on that... thing, you wouldn't be here.' I say in defense.
'Well if you wouldn't have gotten drunk than we wouldn't be here either.' he says. I was getting mad.
'Well you were drunk too!' I say. He was about to reply when the doctor walked in, we quickly put on smiles.
'How are we doing today?' she asked me.
'Good.' I smile. She got everything set up and we took the altro-sound.
'You want to know?' she asked again.
'Yes.' we said at the same time, but then glared at each other.
'Baby girl. Congrats.' she said giving us the altro-sound picture. I smile.
'Aw! Just what I wanted.' I said. I looked at Alex to see him smiling down at the picture too.
'Me too.' he said softly. Suddenly I felt awkward. He wanted a girl too? Why? I wondered. Boys normally want boys.... huh. I realized we were both standing a little to close and I quickly stepped back towards the car.
'It's probably time to get home.' I said. He looked at me.
'Yea, your right.' he said getting in the car. we were about to my house when he asks.
'When is it due?'
'July 4th' I smile.
'Holiday... nice.' he said, sounding uncomfortable. He always did around me, though. We pulled into my drive way.
'Yea. I'll see you later.' I say.
'Yea, see ya.' he tried to smile as I got out of the car going inside. Today was.... interesting.... not the normal.
