For some, being at work is a very serious affair to the extent that they even forget to smile at their co-workers. (The only possible smile would be the smiley’s he/she uses while chatting) Maintaining a proper code of conduct at work is necessary to a certain extent. But one also needs to consider that most of us spend a major time of the entire week at work, so having a fun filled environment is necessary to keep one feeling enthusiastic about coming to work. Funny Ideas for Office Pranks (Use them at your own risk!):
Fill a paper cup with water, coffee, soda or juice; whatever you can lay your hands on. Attach a piece of string to one side of the cup. Use a tape or staple it to the cup. Keep this high up, on a shelf. Let the string of this cup dangle down. I am sure there are many curious co-workers out there who are bound to pull the string! Do control your laughter when the stuff showers down upon him/her.

This office prank is quite an old one and also successful as well. Try this on that particularly surly colleague! Simply go up to him/her or buzz the person on the extension to inform that the boss or the team lead has called him/her for an important meeting. Watch the person go up to the room and knock; only to be sent out in hurry!

The following office prank is little bit on the meaner side. Get a box full of donuts and keep them in the refrigerator for a couple of days. Keep them till they dry out. The next day, take them to your office, and keep the box open at your desk. Food lovers are bound to dip their hands into the box and take a bite without really thinking twice! It goes without saying that they will not approach you for anything edible!

Office pranks can range from the funny to ones that are on the dangerous side as well. This office prank can work well for a large organization. Are you tired of boring meetings that actually get you nowhere? Add another meeting to the endless list of meetings. Post a fake notice about a fun meet outdoors for some fun and games. Be the concerned onlooker as people gather and get confused and basically lose an hour in the boring everyday routine, trying to find out what is going on! Hopefully, this might actually give you a chance to get out and have some fun.

If it’s pouring cats and dogs out there, you can actually bring some fun and cheer in a dull and boring day. Use some lightweight odds and ends or pieces of paper and stuff them into the umbrella, which belongs to your colleague and is left by the table. Imagine his/her surprise when the umbrella is opened outside and the clutter falls all over!

This one can certainly land you in trouble if you get caught. If you do have access to our colleagues computer or happen to find his mailbox unattended, send an ‘I love you’ Email across to a common friend or colleague who can take this joke sportingly. Hell may break lose so better be careful!

You can even drop in at the local joke shop or browse online and look through websites that sell funny stuff for gags. There was one interesting one I came across in such a store that scared my friend out of his wits. A bunch of chocolates cleverly disguised to look like any reputed brand had fake, plastic cockroaches wrapped inside. Another one I can recall is this cool badge that looks like a flower. This is attached to a thin plastic pipe that has a small plastic container filled with water at the other end. Every time someone comes to admire that flower pinned on your shoulder, press the nozzle from below (it needs to be hidden in the pocket) and watch the water squirt out onto the face of the admirer! He/she will think twice the next time they admire your accessories.

Have a fun time with these office pranks but steer clear from trouble at the same time! After all, you do not want someone to turn the tables on you!
