Of Time and Creativity

Can creativity be bound to time?
I am a creative person. We all are in our own ways. But when we're asked to be creative in a given span of time do you think it's possible? It might be. Some people require to be told to spill their creative juices. For others, they're already flowing in an underlying sea of thoughts. But what is it that matters the most? Quality or quantity?

It is a question that has been haunting me for a long time. If creativity is a process shouldn't it be allowed to flow at its own pace and time, without any constraints? You cannot ask a designer to complete 15 designs in a month. He will do it no doubt. But it is going to be work he is detached from. Because of the bondage of time, he will be able to produce 15 designs, but nothing of him is going to be seen in it. If anything, maybe repetition. The freedom of thought is not available for him to use. There is no personal space. He has been forced to compromise on the quality of his work because of the money involved.

Be it any creative field, the process of creativity has been limited because of the involvement of money in every aspect related to it. Money runs this universe and it is only those with it who have the privilege of producing quality.
