Now That You’re Gone
Poetry cycle – My Teenage Years Poetry I wrote in high school We don’t always appreciate what we already have…
Ever since you’ve gone
I live in memories
I remember those times
When all was not right
And yet when your gone
I long to have you back again.
I remember when you hurt me bad,
But then you kissed my tears away
And told me you loved me anyway
So now that you’re gone
I long to have you back again.
You were always close at hand
And even now I still dream of you
‘Cause since your gone
I wish you’d come back again.
I live in memories
I remember those times
When all was not right
And yet when your gone
I long to have you back again.
I remember when you hurt me bad,
But then you kissed my tears away
And told me you loved me anyway
So now that you’re gone
I long to have you back again.
You were always close at hand
And even now I still dream of you
‘Cause since your gone
I wish you’d come back again.
