Not Like My Fairytale Life - Prologue

After School
"Risa. Risa, please listen to me," Dylan shouted while running behind her.
Risa sped up her pace.
"Risa," Dylan said in anger, turning her by her elbow "please, listen to me", holding her by shoulder so that she couldn't run away.
Risa just shook her head to hide the fear on her face. She was trembling in his hands. Dylan could feel it, but it just added more fuel to his rage.
He put his hand by his side. "Go," he said in an angry tone. Risa looked up at him clearly seeing the rage on his face. She stepped back. "I SAID GO," he shouted at her. She started to leave, but Dylan held her wrist, "This time. This time, I'm letting you go, but next time I won't," saying this he left her hand and went away. Risa stood there looking at the figure that walked away, and then she turn back running to her house, while a drop of tear slipped down her cheek.

Risa stood outside the door of her house, her hand on the knob. She tried to calm herself, trying to forget what just happen a while ago. She took a deep breath and turn the knob then step inside.
"Mama, I'm home," said Risa, walking into the house.
"Mama?" She asked when she got no response, "Mama, where are you?"
"Mama, are you here?" She said as she went to the living room. And then she saw something which shocked her.

"Doctor, how is she?" She asked holding back the tears.
"Sorry, we can't say anything," said Dr. Reynold, "Her condition is critical. We are trying our best," he said and went away.
Risa couldn't hold back the tears. It was more than she could handle. She was all alone there, with no one by her side. Her best friend Sophie is at her uncle's house, and isn't receiving her phone. Drew is in ICU due to an accident. And Dylan. She can't even think of him after what happened between them.
"Where are you daddy? Please come back soon? I need you. Mama needs you," she said sobbing harder.
This wasn't her life. Everything has changed. Ever since that fateful day, each and everything have changed. Nothing is like what it used to be. And this is first time life had become so much cruel, with nobody by her side... but this isn't the ending.
