Not Finished And Was Started Out of Nowhere
You don't have to read it.
Turns out that you're still in love with him. But it's okay.
She tosses and turns in bed. It's impossible for her to sleep now. Everything is disturbing her. The winds outside howls in the late night. It shakes the trees. The street lights aren't helping either. All of a sudden it's too hot , so she kicks her covers off and throws her pillow on the far side of her bed. Then its too cold , so she reaches for her pillow and pulls her covers over her shoulders and curls into a ball. She questions herself as she tries to force herself to sleep by shutting her eyelids tightly.
"Why .."She wipers."Why won't you let me go to sleep ?"
She opens one eye just to look at her alarm clock. Its three in the morning. She sits up in bed and she throws the covers off her again."This is out rageous !"She gets out of bed and walks out her room. Her parents are sleeping, which is a good thing. They'd be interrogating her on why she can't go to sleep. Especially her mom with her nagging voice. She walks straight to the fridge and makes herself a couple of sandwiches, then goes into the living room.
The tv was left on , probably by her little brother. Click , click , click goes the remote , flipping through the channels like nothing. Nothing is good on tv at three in the morning .. except romances. She would watch the late night romances but she's not trying to die of depression. She hates herself enough already. Her summer is being ruined already. All she wants is one day of fun where she can just laugh and not think about him but that has yet to happen. She managed to keep herself busy like she planned. She spends countless of hours at work & the rest of the hours of the day with her friends. How does she even have the time and the room in her head to be thinking ?
"That answer to that question is still unknown"She takes a huge bite out of her sandwich.
She flips to a romance anyway.
"Maybe if I just face this thing head on. I'll get over it"
Its like facing a fear kinda. Her bravery doesn't really work out anyway. For the whole night her eyes stayed glued to that tv watching the whole movie. She's disappointed in herself but she has to admit , the movie was interesting.
"I'm gonna hate myself later. I know it"
She walks back up the stairs and hops right into the bed. Dawn has arrived. A yawn escapes her mouth , she blinks a couple of times and she's gone.

"Had a good rest ?"Her boss asked.
"I'm fine. I stayed up all night actually."
The bus roared right beside them. All the little ones were eager to hop on the bus. Not one of them could stay still. Shelly started yelling at them as she pulled each of them back into the line they wandered from. Poor Shelly. She's the only one who puts effort into this job. Its makes sense since she wants to run a daycare but she should sleep on the idea of her running one for a couple of years with the way she's treating those kids.
"If your body just gives out I'm not catching you."Her boss hysterically laughs.
She gives a pity laugh.
"Don't fall on the kids !"He laughs even harder walking away.
She watches him walk away with the straightest mug.
"On with my long day"She leads a group of kids into the bus and hops in. They all began singing the road trip song. Lord what an annoying little song. Its cute though , because some of the kids do not get the words right and the kids to don't sing in sync. You hear a delayed lyrics after dely and delay. It makes her giggle. Shelly glares at her from afar. She stares back. Shelly gets out of her seat and walks over to her while trying the keep her balance on the wildly driven bus.
"You're letting them sing the song wrong. It's not funny."Shelly says.
"Its cute."
"You think its cute ? You're making the camp look bad."
"They're little kids Shelly , of course they're gonna get the song wrong."
Shelly goes deeper into the bus and stops the kids from their terrible singing. She makes them start over and slow down lyric by lyric. Her phone buzzes in her pocket. Nobody has blown her phone up in a while. This summer she was popular, especially with her time-consuming jobs. Apparently being busy makes your friends want you more. It's been a full two days since she had to text her fingers off. She looks out the window and takes a deep breath before she looks at her phone. Maybe the tired feeling is starting to take effect. A part of her wishes that it was him talking to her but she disposes her thought before it can get any further."If it's not him its fine. That better for me and my summer."She thinks.
She looks at her phone. Its her mom. What a let down. At least a friend , but no , its her mother. Maybe her friends got tired of harassing her to hang out. She guessing her popularity during the summer has come to an end. Or a hault. She texts her mother back and then looks back out the window.
