Noni juice is obtained from a herbal plant, scientifically named as Morinda citrifolia. Noni is also known as Indian mulberry, Tahitian Noni and beach mulberry. It is found in large numbers in Costa Rica, the Indian subcontinent, Dominican Republic and the Pacific islands. Noni fruit has been used by the people in the Pacific islands for a long time, for curing many diseases. Noni juice is extracted out of the Noni plant. This juice is high in carbohydrate content and low in fat content. It is also a rich source of dietary fibers and therefore helps in proper digestion.

Noni juice has been constantly proved useful to cure many health disorders such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, ulcer problems, digestion problems etc. Moreover, it has been effective in improving the immune system and safeguarding the body from various diseases and infections. Coughing
In rare cases, prolonged intake of noni juice can develop cough problems. But, not much evidences are available in this regards.

Rise in Calories
Noni juice poses an adverse effect on people suffering from diabetes. Noni fruit, like all other fruits is high in sugar and glucose content. Consuming noni juice, certainly increases the calorie and blood sugar content in diabetic people and lead to several other problems.

Rashes on Skin
In some cases skin rash accompanied with itching have also been observed.

Constipation
Another side effect of over consumption of noni juice is, constipation. Constipation can further increase to the level of causing damage to the intestines, if not cured immediately.

Renal Disease
Noni juice is rich in the potassium content as well! Therefore people already suffering from renal disease should avoid consuming this juice and consult a doctor for other safer remedies.

Breathing Problems
Some people have also reported to suffer from breathing problems (difficulty in breathing or falling short of breath) due to the intake of noni juice.

Other Problems Caused by Noni Juice
Other commonly observed side effects of noni juice are joint pain, fatigue and tiredness, diarrhea, heavy periods in women, acne, bloating, gas problems, bad breath and bad odor urine.
