Nobody Cares

I made this poem up randomly late at night. I couldn't get to sleep! Hope you enjoy and feel free to comment! This is about the little girl no one cared about... She comes every night, so be careful.
The constant moving,
Of the dead girl's shadow,
There every night.

She's still breathing,
She comes and goes,
For what she feels is right.

She may be under your bed,
Waiting to creep up to you,
Wanting to see if you care.

You may say she's messing with your head,
But you don't the true reasons,
As to why she is there.

You see, her death was very cruel,
Nobody cared for her!
She was known as the little fool,
Who couldn't put 2+2 together!

"What's the point in keeping her?"
The Mum and Dad always say,
"She causes too much bother,
And always gets in the way!"

They wanted her out of their life,
So they sneaked into her room one night,
Clutching tightly a devil's knife,
She woke up with a bad fright.

She screamed as it was just a nightmare,
Or so she hoped desperately,
But it's too late as she's floating in thin air,
She cried buckets hopelessly.

She managed to escape the light,
And she carried her body away,
To another's home every night,
To see what they'd say.

She wants someone to care,
She wants to feel appreciated,
She doesn't intend to scare,
And therefore get hated.

But it's just not fair,
All she wants is someone to care,
Then she can happily go away,
Into the Heaven, Faraway,
Is that too much to ask for?

The constant moving,
Of the dead girl's shadow,
There every night.

She's still breathing,
She comes and goes,
For what she feels is right.
