Noah's Ark Found in Turkey
Are the remains of Noah's ark found a hoax or has the original ark been discovered? The following article will cover some information related to Noah's ark found in Turkey.

Why was Noah's Ark Built?
It is said that God was angry with man's wickedness and sins committed. Those who were sinners and corrupted had to be punished. But, God is kind and decided to spare those who were innocent. God spoke to Noah, the most righteous man of his generation. He asked Noah to build a huge vessel that will help save his family and a pair of every animal of the world. He was asked to board along with his family, seven pairs of birds and clean animals. One pair of the unclean animals were also asked to be taken along.
Noah was given detailed instructions about building the Ark by God. After the completion of the Ark, God sent animals to Noah to be taken into the vessel. Finally, the day came when the Flood was sent by God. The flood was so huge that it covered all the mountains of the world. Each and every living thing in the world was dead that was outside the Ark. Only the fish survived the deluge. Then, God remembered Noah and asked the waters to recede, making the lands dry. Noah, his family and the animals were asked to leave the Ark. After this God vowed never to send flood on earth to destroy it. It is said, that the Ark came to rest at the Agn Mountain or Ararat mountain in eastern Turkey, according to the Holy Bible.
Noah's Ark Discovered
With this knowledge from the Bible that the Ark rested in Mount Ararat, a group of Chinese and Turkish evangelical explores went in search of it. This group of explorers claims to have discovered Noah's Ark 13,000 feet up the Mount Ararat.
The explorers claim they have proof through carbon dating that the relic is about 4,800 years old. This means that it matches the date the Ark was supposed to be afloat. Many evangelicals and literalists have hoped to validate the Bibical story that the Ark finally rested in Mt. Ararat.
Dutch Ark researcher, Gerrit Aalten, at a press conference announcing Noah's Ark found in Turkey said, "The significance of this find is that for the first time in history the discovery of Noah's Ark is well documented and revealed to the worldwide community". Aalten believes this discovery to be a legitimate archeological discovery. He further said, "There's a tremendous amount of solid evidence that the structure found on Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey is the legendary Ark of Noah."
The structure found contains several compartments with wooden beams that may have housed the animals according to the Noah's Ark Ministry representatives. These representatives also ruled out human settlements as none have ever gone above 11,000 feet.
Team member Panda Lee described his visit to the mountain site along with the Turkish team. He said the plank was built more than 4,000 meters elevation with plank-like timber. These planks were about 8 inches wide with tenons, that proved it was a structure that predated the use of metal nails. Lee further described that broken wood fragments were embedded in a glacier with a few that were about 20 meters long. The wooden structure is permanently covered with ice and volcanic rocks.
The local Turkish authorities have asked the Central government in Ankara to apply for UNESCO World Heritage status. This is to protect the archeological find in future. Noah's Ark found in Turkey has created a furor in the world of believers. Although, the excavation teams is sure they have made a major discovery, but they too are not 100%, but 99.9% sure if it is the original Ark. The rest 0.1% is left to chance. God asked Noah to build the Ark to get rid of the world from sinners and corruption. This discovery will prove to be a valuable proof for existence of God and his path of virtue and righteous for those who believe otherwise.
