I haven't come up with a title yet. Sooooooo u should help and write a comment. *smiles innocently*
When someone mentions vampire, what crosses you're mind? Werewolves? Dracula? Elves? Dwarfs? Love? Forbidden Romance?
Please, that is so stereotype. I would since I'm definitely not a vampire, nor am I a werewolf. I don't howl at full moon or drinking people's blood.
It probably sucks being a vampire, since you're bloodthirsty all the time and can't control it. A wolf is hot! No, I don't mean hot as in "ooh, sexy" but hot as in a fever of 100 degrees. Imagine that, everyday. Whoo! I would stock on decorate.
There is one thing I can be and still act human. If you didn't know, I'm a witch. Full-blooded and not tainted by inter-breeding. Like:
-Vampire/witch
-witch/wolf
-wolf/elves (don't know how it works with them)
And so on. Never in history as there been a werewolf with vampire. It's like taboo, end-of-the-world thing. I would know since I studied it, look it up. I even ask questions. They say you should never, ever piss off a werewolf. I kinda believe them now. Another story for another time.
"Karen Harmony-Ann Fields!"
My older sister pop in. "What you do now, Karen?" she asks, sneering.
I stuck out my tongue and Kate flip the middle finger at me.
"I'm telling" I said, acting like a 5 year old. I jump from my seat and was almost the door, until Kate threw a punch at me.
Father hires people to train us in fighting. I know karate, kick-boxing, etc, etc. Even street fighting. I don't know where Father finds these people.
I dodge it, then whack her arm from where I dodge and heard a soft crack.
"Uh-oh, does Katey have a boo-boo?" I said, making a sad face at her.
She drew back her hand, quickly, letting out a small whimper. She glared at me.
Her mouth moved, in my eyes, it was slow but on front of a mortal, it's fast that you don't know she's talking.
I narrow my eyes. "You wouldn't".
Her lips twitch, wanting to smirk, but when casting a spell, you must remember that you can't be interrupted. That rule was beat into are brains.
I stood straight and slap my older sis across her face, stopping the spell. There are better ways to stop a spell but, I guess it never across my mind.
Kate whip her head back at me. "Why, you little bitch -"
"Karen!"
"Sorry, I'm being summon" I said but pause then added. "It seems everyone wants to talk to me, like having a conversation and not pleasing them in pleasure".
I smiled the innocent smile I was known widely for and headed downstairs. Kate knew that I knew what she did. She has a boyfriend who meets in the library, in the reference section. The reference section was never enter and if you do then you're branded "nerd" on top of their head. Kate meets some guys there, mostly their older than her. It sucks to have a sister who rather sucks than talk.
I guess maybe we aren't really related. I walk down the stairs and straight to the study, where I always at. Not because I like studying, but because....
Father sat at his desk, his elbows planted on the desk. I wanted to say it wasn't me but when you live in a town that consists of mostly supernatural creatures and the town is super-ultra small then welcome to my Life.
"Hi, Dad" I said, happily. "When did you get back? I thought Mom said you were on the Other Side for a month".
Other Side, is where mortals live. I believe they call themselves "human beings". It's an odd name. They have two words well we have "Witches" or "Vampire". "Werewolf" is still one word, it just has two symllas.
"My trip was cut short, due to an unexpected call" he said, holding up a pencil and balancing it on the tip.
My smile froze on my lips. "Really?" I said, forcing my voice to sound happy.
Father continue observing the pencil as if it'll do a trick any time soon. "Yes, really. From you're Dean, of the Magic Academy!" he said, slamming down his hand. Thunder echo from outside. He's pissed. And I'm so dead.
I thought I should play the "I-don't-know-what-you're-talking-about" card but seeing how I'll be dead soon, I decided on be truthful to the end.
"Father, I swear to you, I didn't mean to, they got me angry and I couldn't control my emotions. It sort of slip out" I said, recalling the three boys that taunted me.
Father didn't spare me a glance. It stung.
"You should be more like Kate" he said.
I twisted my face. Ew! Does that mean I have to 'do it' with guys?
"I can't help who I am" I said. "If you want someone to blame, maybe you should point it at yourself or mom".
Father buried his face in his hands. "You're strong, Karen. Sometimes, i wish you weren't".
I raise an eyebrow. Strong? Does that mean I'm manly?
He look at me. "Strong people attract attention and grow up too fast".
"Do I hear wedding bells?" I asked, totally kidding.
Father narrow his eyes. "Did someone ask you?"
I blink. "No! I'm only 16! It was a joke!"
He sighed, relief. "The Dean is on the verge of expelling you".
I bit my lip. "I'm sorry, Father. But I won't apologize to them. They deserve what they got".
I turn them into garbage. Trash, like them.
"What?"
"They insulted my family and the family name so I 'trash' talk back?" I said. Trash talk, funny, right?
"Shes right, Tom" Mom interrupted. "When one is insulted, it is a natural reaction for them to insult back or in this case, cast a advance spell. Not many witches can turn someone into trash, which is connect to the Other Side, right?"
Fatuer nodded. "Which is why it's a big deal".
"Why?" I asked.
Mom look sad but smile.
"Karen, the Dean name you're level of magic Danger type" Father said, voice hollow.
