No Muscle Weight Gain - Genetics Isn't The Problem
People wanting to know how to gain weight have been scammed for many decades now by the bodybuilding and supplement industry. This article begins to reveal one of the biggest training myths.
Genetics is crucial in determining exactly how to gain weight and at what rate. It plays a crucial role in getting the most out of your bodybuilding workout plan.
Saying that, I’m having a real issue lately seeing too many weight lifters blaming genetics for their lack of bodybuilding success.
As soon as an individual realizes that he / she isn’t gaining one bit of muscle mass even though they are following the most rigorous of workout nutrition / diet, who takes the blame? That’s right, your genes handed to you by "mom and dad". Don’t get me wrong, genetics is definitely a limiting factor in your overall, long-term muscular development.

"Is it that you have bad genetics, or is that your workout routine isn’t that effective?"
"Bad genetics, or the possibility that you're concentrating too much on getting stronger and / or perhaps using sloppy exercise technique and form instead on utilizing a workout routine that focusing on getting physically bigger in muscular weight?"
"Horrible genetics, or are you wasting too much energy / calories on other things, like sports, work, stress, etc.?"

With the thousands of factors and combination of things that can influence in a good or bad way your muscle building success, putting the guilt on genetics without examining the other things is not the most intelligent thing to do.
Words of advice...don't think that the battle is lost in building the physique you badly want and seek because you feel you don't have the genetics for it.
Ever realize that when someone mentions that a certain individual can gain well-defined muscle with low levels of body fat by eating fries, deep dish pizza, , etc., the very first thing someone else claims in response to that is "It has to be his genetics that allows him to eat crap like that and still stay lean!".
How about not shooting down someone else’s training or nutritional techniques because it isn’t the "proper", "politically correct", "goes against bodybuilding tradition", "is everything we are not supposed to do or eat" etc., thing to do, how about looking at things with an open mind.
Perhaps it’s not the fact that someone has good genetics that allows him / her to be able to gain muscle with non-traditional / non-popular workout programs or eating plans work for them.
Let’s face it, a lot of us can lose weight on a diet consisting of a ton of and / or fats...such as Pizza Hut, ice cream, donuts, and Wendy’s.
It’s that they have unmasked that what really has a visual influence on their physiques is not the food per se, it’s the total amount of calories that they eat on per day.
There are many that have been able to build a lot of muscle while eating very little protein.
