I sit & read the story of my life

Plagued details jump back at me with a jagged edged knife,

& as each scar reveals itself

I sit and wonder y?

I chose my decisions, i sat and cursed the sky.

I have no one else to blame, my own enemy was me, its true.

I wish I could escape it all,

But it seems its something that is impossible to do.

No matter how hard & desperately I try,

My past keeps coming back to me,

& this my friend is no lie.
