Nintendo Game Boy and its Development

The story of Nintendo Game Boy is that of a persistent innovation and development. The idea behind the original system was to introduce a portable system. However, scores of other innovation features were added to the Game Boy Color and then its last version called Game Boy Advance.
As the recognition of the NES grew, the time was ready to introduce gaming which were even further transportable. To take the concept further, the suggestion of Nintendo Game Boy was started in 1970 which was nevertheless, not released until 1989.

The makers of the system wanted to be the pioneers in creating gaming system that was not merely highly portable but at the aslo economic and durable. Thus durability, economy and portability were the three main targets before the creators of the GB system. The game most equal with Nintendo Game Boy was Tetris, as all Game Boy came with this game included, but there were lots of further titles in the records including Pokemon and Final Fantasy.

The next development of Nintendo Game Boy was the release of Nintendo Game Boy Color. This version was called color simply because of its color screen. Although some of the features remained the same, new adds on were introduced. Camera attachment, built in jacks, and printer attachment to the sytems were some of its most innovative development.

The next jump was the formation of Game Boy Advance which was in the beginning released in 2001. It is a 32 bit-gaming console and enormously resembled the Sega Game Gear that was its competitor since the time of the Game Boy. Two models of the Game Boy Advance became very well-liked i.e the GBA SP and The GBA micro. The Advance SP is a mini laptop while the micro edition is even smaller than the SP .
