Night Town Highschool - Chapter 2
Sorry But got a bit of writers block, so this one's short.
I woke up to the sound of the shower running in my bathroom. Mason was nowhere to be seen. I walked towards the bathroom door and opened it slight. There in my shower, stood a boy. He was about Audric's age and had a slim figure. I quickly closed the door. I could feel my face go red with embarrassment. Audric had been telling the truth, Mason was a werewolf.
Mason came out of the bathroom dressed and looked at me with a smile. "Why are you blushing?" He asked, his voice heavy with a British accent. I hid my face. He chuckled. " I know you walked into the bathroom, I heard the door" He said. I blushed deeper. I felt him sit down on the bed beside me. "You know, I don't believe I've introduced myself, and it probably won't do much now. But I'm Mason Everheart. I'm from London" He said. I looked at him. " You already know who I am, So there's no need for me to introduce myself" I said. Mason moved a bit closer leaning against me. I moved away quickly making him almost fall over. " Mason, If I would have known last night, you wouldn't even be in my room, so don't be getting yourself so comfy cozy" I said. Mason frowned for a moment but then smiled. " I see, So you feel tricked?" He asked. "A little... yeah" I said. He looked at me. " Not my fault, Audric warned you. You're the one who invited me to stay. I must say though, I feel a sort of attraction to you" Mason said. I looked at him with shock. "You don't even know me" I said getting up feeling angry. I stormed out of my room and down the stairs.
As I walked outside I stopped and sat on the stairs. Why was this all happening so suddenly? Obviously Audric and Mason were playing some sort of joke on me and I certainly didn't like it. I heard the door open behind me. " Mason, If You think-" I started but was cut off. " Calm down, Masons still inside. Now what's got you so upset?" Audric asked sitting down beside me. I looked at him, His blonde hair falling into his face, His smile warm and inviting as always. " Mason... said he was sort of feeling an attraction to me... but I don't like him... I mean he tricked me... basically lied to me in a way" I said. Audric sighed. " I told you he was a werewolf, you can't blame it all on him. Not like he can talk to you when he's a wolf" Audric said. I frowned. I couldn't believe Audric was taking Mason's side. " I'll talk to Mason for you. Tell him to leave you alone" Audric said and kissed me quickly. He got up and was gone.
The day went was going by pretty slow. I sat outside in the cool summer's air. Quietly I read my book waiting for lunch to be over. Not like I minded the quietness or being alone, But I longed to have someone to sit and chat with. If only for five minutes and I would be happy. At that thought Audric came around the corner and sat beside me. " What you up to?" Audric asked. "Reading" I said. He inched a bit closer to me. "Reading what exactly?" Audric asked. "It's a romance novel, nothing you'd be interesting in" I said. I thought about this morning and looked him in the eyes. " Audric, you don't like me or something... do you?" I asked. He frowned and the smiled softly. " What gave you that idea?" He asked. "I don't know. Maybe the fact that you kissed me this morning" I said. " Hmm did I now. I don't recall I did. But it's nice to see you dream about me" He said with a wink. I blushed deep. Had this morning really been a dream? No there's no way because then I'd be missing my whole morning. " But I-" I started. " I got to go, bells going to ring" Audric said getting up and then he left. Sure enough, The bell rang.
