Nicollette Sheridan & Michael Bolton Split

Sheridan’s rep, Nicole Perna, released a statement Wednesday, "Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter." The couple has been engaged since March 2006. At the time of their engagement Bolton said, "Nicollette and I are very serious about each other. I am very committed. It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future."

This was the second go round for Sheridan, 44, and Bolton, 55. They originally met and began dating in 1992. The couple dated for three years before calling it quits. After Bolton popped the question Sheridan said that she wanted to get married "as soon as possible." The couple got back together in December 2005, shortly after Sheridan and actor Niklas Soderblom called off their engagement. Sheridan and Soderblom dated for about a year and a half before calling it quits in November 2005.

This would’ve been the second marriage for both Sheridan and Bolton. She was previously married to actor Harry Hamlin from 1991-1993. Bolton was married for 15-years to Maureen McGuire before they divorced in 1990. Bolton and McGuire have three daughters together. Sheridan first hit it big as Paige Matheson on the nighttime soap Knot’s Landing. She starred on the soap from 1986 to 1993 and didn’t really have another juicy role until she landed the role of Edie Britt on the hit show Desperate Housewives and found herself back in the spotlight.
