Nicole Kidman Expecting

Kidman’s camp recently denied reports that she was expecting her first child with hubby Keith Urban. Her rep, Catherine Olim, confirmed the pregnancy Monday and said, "The couple are thrilled." Kidman has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, 15-year old Isabella and Connor, 12. She has always been very vocal about the fact that she wanted to have more children. She said in an interview in September, "I’m yearning to have one. I think it would be very sad if I wasn’t able to have a baby. Keith knows I want one, and he has been getting there slowly. No details were revealed about the pregnancy, but it is believed that Kidman is about three-months along. Kidman and Urban recently bought a home about a half-hour outside of Nashville in Leipers Fork, Tenn.

Kidman and Urban, both 40, met in January 2005 and the couple was married in Sydney, Australia on June 25, 2006. She was previously married to actor Tom Cruise from 1990 – 2001. In an interview this year, Kidman revealed that she was three months pregnant when she and Cruise ended their relationship and that she eventually suffered a miscarriage. She also revealed that she had had an ectopic pregnancy in the early stages of her marriage to Cruise.

Kidman and Urban have not had the fantasy marriage that one would imagine. Three months after tying the knot Urban checked into The Betty Ford Clinic to deal with his addiction to alcohol. Kidman stood by Urban’s side and has said, "We had to dig really deep." It has been reported that the couple is stronger than ever and are looking forward to welcoming their little bundle of joy.
