Nick Hogan Arrested
Hogan Knows Best star Nick Hogan, 17, was arrested on criminal charges Wednesday stemming from his August 26 car crash that left his passenger paralyzed.

Hogan, the son of pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan, turned himself into authorities Wednesday morning. He was reportedly charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury, a person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02 or higher, and use of a motor vehicle in commission with a felony. Hogan, real name Nick Bollea, and his passenger, John Graziano, were involved in the crash in Clearwater, FL on August 26. Hogan's Toyota Supra reportedly spun out of control and crashed into a 25-foot palm tree. Hogan was treated for minor injuries and was released from the hospital the following day. Graziano, a 22-year old Marine who just returned from a tour in Iraq, remains in the hospital and is paralyzed and reportedly in a coma. Graziano may have also suffered from brain damage due to swelling of the brain.
The Hogan family released a statement Wednesday that read, "Nick and the entire 'Hogan' Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena - a court of law." The statement also read, "The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can."
It has been determined that Hogan was driving more than 60 miles-per-hour in the 40-mph zone and it has also been reported that wet road conditions may have contributed to the crash. It was reported that Hogan was wearing his seat belt while his passenger was not. The investigation continues into the accident. Hogan was released to his parents, Terry and Linda, after posting $10,000 bail and is expected to be tried as an adult.
