The "Niagara" of our lives, the ultimate perspective?

Scholars or not, reach or poor, regardless of gender, every human being has to face the "Niagara" of their lives, we all have to face death. Quite a somber perspective…however Christians have another perspective…they have already died!
The "Niagara" of our lives, the ultimate perspective?
When you think about life in general, seeing things in perspective is a point of view that can lead to your best decisions therefore you’ll bring great quality of life.

To visualize that even more clearly, think what would you like to leave behind after you will inevitably leave Earth? Alternatively, what would you like to be written about you on your gravestone?

For instance when you go to college you see yourself after 4 years of study when the chances to have a great job and to work in the field you’ve chosen become the every day reality.

"Go with the flow" people are the ones that have their life boat going wherever the river leads and they seem to have lost the rudder. On the other hand, the people who know what they want will set their goals and do their best to achieve them even if obstacles occur on their way.

But logically, after all, rudder or no rudder in life, our river leads in the same direction and we inevitably have to face the "Niagara" of our life, we all have to face death. It all seems so hopeless without God! Just being born and run all your life towards an implacable end! What a somber perspective! However, I hope you have come to know by now that the evolution theory is nothing more then a theory and that science proves the logical fact that there is a Great Creator and that surely changes perspectives!

For us as Christians, the Bible tells us that we have already died! "For you died." (Colossians 3:3)Think about this!

My brother was baptized last month and he is a student, he studies architecture (he is 23 years old). Among his "artists" friends, there are some with vivid imagination! To show their love for him, they brought a funeral like flower arrangement, it was huge and so specific that when I saw it in the front of the church I immediately wondered who had died…but at a second look I recognized my brother’s friends. The arrangement also had a ribbon with messages for a deceased person but with my brother’s name on it as of course it was for my brother to symbolize his death for sin. It was weird to see that funeral arrangement yet this death is so true!

We, the Christians have already died!!! Awesome! No more fear of death because our death has already occurred! It is over and done with!

Are you wondering when this happen? Colossians 2:12 states that we died and were buried with Christ in our baptism! Just as historical as the fact that Jesus was on earth, lived, died and rose from the death, just as real and historical should be our awareness that we as Christians died! Romans 6:3, 4 says that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death, and we were buried with him through our baptism into death. Because Jesus died and was buried, trough our baptism we died and were buried with Him.

Quite a changed perspective over death, right? From God’s perspective, our death and burial have already taken place in Christ’s death and burial. Through our baptism into Christ we died and were buried with him.

But of course, our God is the God of life so once our old sinful nature with its evil deeds and desires died, we still have a life to live at the present moment, don’t we? We died but also were born into God’s family (I have told my brother’s friends that they should have brought something for a new born baby too, not only the funeral arrangement …I suggested "Pampers").Yes, our life is "hidden with Christ in God". That is now, in the present time!

"For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." (Colossians 3:3)

It means that we have a life that is hidden with Christ in God to live right now, at this very moment! It is not only after we get in Heaven!

Romans 6:3-4" Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

Oh, how much protection and immutable victory! To have your life hidden in Jesus and with Him, in God! This is the perspective of the eternal life that God is offering to each human being free of charge! Grab it if you haven’t done that yet!

If you already have this awesome perspective, look in the mirror and see yourself trough God’s eyes…with the good and the bad…ask Him for help and growth, He is there, remember, you are hidden inside Him and are "the apple of his eyes"!
