Some of the older Vegas Hotels, such as the Tropicana, have remodeled their properties instead of demolishing the whole hotel.

With Las Vegas going through many transformations the last several years we have seen hotels build, demolished and rebuilt time and time again. Then we have some older hotels that have been renovated a few times, but preserved the age of the property. It all depends on what your looking for.

Tropicana - This is one Vegas Hotel that decided to keep the building and remodel the hotel. The paradise theme still in tact you can have the comfort of modern room amenities with some of the old nostalgia that the Tropicana has had.

The days of Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Dean Martin all passed through the halls of the Tropicana. As most of the elder strip hotels have been demolished, the Trop still remains. No doubt the renovations make for better comfort and the tropical theme is great for the family, the strip location is also good for sightseeing.

Prices - You won't go broke paying for a room at the Tropicana. Depending on the season and day of the week deals on rooms and food are available. I've seen them as low as $50.00 at times and as high as $150.00, it just depends on the time.
