Chapter 1

I placed the guitar down and looked at my friends. "Its good," Martin said.

"Yeah, but I think you should practice the song more," said Brad .
"Yea I know," I replied .
"Let's take a break," Martin said and Paul, Brad and Rebecca went out.

Me and my friends have been practicing for nearly an hour in Paul’s house. First let me tell about myself, I’m Jamie and I play the guitar or the keyboard in our band.

Martin, one of my best friends plays the drums. Paul and Rebecca are the lead singers. And Brad likes me playing guitar and keyboard. I went to the kitchen to get some water and caught Paul and Rebecca making out.

"Uggh, get a room you both," I said.
"You were the one barged in here," replied Paul.
"How the hell would I know that you both would be here?" I asked grabbing a bottle of water and said, "Don't you have any better work anyway?"

Paul said, "Look who is talking. If Alex was here then you would have been really busy." I blushed.

Damn him. Alex is my boyfriend and Paul was right, I would have been with him only if he was here. But unfortunately he had to go to NY to visit his Dad.

We got back to practice and finished up after an hour. I was walking back home and my cell rang. It was Alex’s Mom . "Hi Anne," I said. Jamie... and with that my world came tumbling down.
