New PS3 Games - PlayStation 3 Video Game Release Dates

Sony fans who were apprehensive about the availability of new PS3 games can now put their apprehensions to rest. The Sony PS3 will soon see a cluster of new games, spin-offs, updates, prequels and sequels as playstation 3 games. Here are some games announced for the PS3 which may soon become the top games on the PS3.

The popular franchise Devil May Cry will soon have a PS3 outing. Devil May Cry 4 for the PS3 will have the players control two new characters, Nero and Kyrie along with the leader of the series, Dante. Kyrie will be the female character of Devil May Cry 4.

'Devil May Cry' by Capcom will be available on the PC as well as the XBOX 360. The release date for the PS3 game has not been announced as yet.

The weapons available in this game will be the 'Red Sword', 'Blue Rose' the revolver and the 'Devil Bringer Arm'. The 'Devil Bringer Arm' will make it possible for the player to grab distant enemies and kill them or slam them on the ground.

'Eyedentify' by SCEA is one of the new ps3 games which are bent on innovating gaming as gamers know it. In this game, the gamer can use his or her own face. It will be based somewhat on the earlier EyeToy for the PS2.

'Heavenly Sword' by Ninja Theory is another game in the ranks for the PS3. The release date for this PlayStation 3 game is set for September 2007. The game has heavy martial arts usage, along with an in depth storyline.'Heavenly Sword' will also have a vast array of weapons, ranging from swords to chain-like weapons.

The 'Killzone' by Guerilla Games franchise will also make inroads into the Sony Playstation 3 world. The working title for the game is 'Killzone2'. The game is being developed by Guerilla Games and will be published by Sony. 'Killzone' has about one hundred and twenty developed working on it.

The 'Ratchet and Clank' by Insomniac franchise also sees its first offering to the Sony PlayStation 3. The game, tentatively titled 'Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction'. The release date for this PS3 game is somewhere in the Fall of 2007. The game
will feature one of Ratchet's arch enemies returning to his life and baying for his blood.

Another exclusive game for the PlayStation 3 console is the 'Metal Gear Solid: Guns of Patriots' by Konami. The game is tapped to be the last in the 'Metal Gear Solid' series. The game will see a lot of innovations to the previous Metal Gear Games, one of them being the introduction of the first person mode. The motto of the game is 'No Place to Hide!'

'Warhawk' by Incognito will also be remade for the Playstation 3. 'Warhawk' is a third person shooter. The game gives the player the ability to use jeeps, planes and tanks.'Warhawk' will also have at least thirty two online battles. The online version will have the ability to be played in the PlayStation 3 split screen feature.

Another game set to be released for the PS3 is 'Ni-Oh' by KOEI. The game is derived from Buddhist culture and means 'a king'. The game will be set in the medieval times, where a military officer has to battle feuding warlords.

Another game for the PS3 that has a massive fan following is 'Resistance: Fall of Man' by Insomnaic. The game takes place in an alternate World War II Era. In the game, a new race, known as the Chimera invades the world. The main protagonist, Nathan Hale, an American Army ranger now has to fight the Chimera and save what is left of humankind.
