Every year we make resolutions to do new and exciting things. Some want to work more, some want to lose weight, some want to get married and some of us movie lovers vow to watch some good movies this year. Watching movies is like a hobby for most movie lovers but we also get disappointed when we don't get to watch quality and good movies. Don't you just hate when you enter a movie hall with so many expectations and they fail miserably, I can't tell you how many times I walked out from a movie. So to save yourself from this utter disappointment, here's a list of some good new movies 2011.

This year promises a new beginning in many movie genres. You can catch some of the best action, comedy, drama, romance, thriller and sci-fi movies this year. So let's have a look at the most anticipated movies coming out in 2011.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Johnny Depp returns in his best role of Captain Jack Sparrow in this successful movie franchise. This action adventure is definitely one of the most talked about movies of 2011, fans are eagerly waiting for May 20, when this movie hits movie screens. Supporting him is the beautiful Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane, a must watch for movie fans.

Justin Beiber: Never Say Never
He is a teen sensation, a talented musician and someone who teenagers all over the world look up to. I am a not a big fan of his music, but there's no doubt that this guy is the next big thing in music industry. This new movie is about his life and his growing up years, plus an intake from Justin himself on how to stay grounded even after you've got everything in life. This movie came out on February 11th and has been a success.

I am a big fan of Jake Gyllenhaal and this sci-fi movie has already been a subject of discussion for many. The story is about a spy who wakes up in someone else's body and has to complete his mission. Cannot reveal much details about the film. Go and watch it! Coming out on April 1st 2011.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2
It all ends in the last battle between Harry and Lord Voldemort. The epic saga releases its last chapter on July 15th. Be there to witness this amazing battle of good vs evil in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

Green Lantern
One of the most anticipated movies of 2011, Green Lantern is surely setting a new trend in superhero movies. It's a more real life kind of super hero and its directed by Casino Royale's director Martin Campbell. Ryan Reynolds stars as Green Lantern and hopes this proves lucky for the guy.

The Hangover 2
The first movie left all of us in splits and the second one guarantees more fun and laughs. The second part is coming out on May 26th and this time they are all traveling to Thailand for Stu's wedding. See all the weird and uncanny events unfold.

Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1
The tragic love story between Edward, Bella and Jacob goes to a new page when Bella becomes pregnant with Edward's child. Some unnatural occurrences occur which pose a threat to Bella and her unborn child. I don't want to give out the entire scoop, book tickets for Breaking Dawn on 18th November 2011.
