New Me

From the sounds of my poems you can probably tell I have a lot of bad days,
But that all goes back to him,
But now I'm realizing what it's like without him here,
Without thinking of him,
Today he wasn't there,
And I realized how not worth it he is,
Today was an amazing day,
Chilling with my friends,
Making people laugh,
Telling a teacher she short,
Laughing till my throat hurt,
Being all loud,
Not worrying about impressing anyone,
Just having fun,
Being me,
And being accepted,
Today people ask me why I seem so different
So happy,
I replied I don't know just in a good mood,
And that's the truth,
I think I like being like this,
Its fun,
No one knows where it came from,
But the new me aren't going nowhere,
I like it,
So goodbye old me,
No longer will I care if you like me or not,
My love can't be bought,
Because that's the least of my worries now,
Goodbye old me,
Because the new me ain't going away I guarantee
