New Girl - (2)

I see a paper on my pillow, when I grab it I roll my eyes. It was a list of Chorus, I just hate it when my grandmother and mom comes up with these things.

I look at the paper and go with the hardest thing which was to clean up the Snow outside. I wear my jacket and go outside with the shovel.

I didn't except to see Elvis there cleaning the snow, I didn't even know that his house was beside ours. I didn't bother saying hi to him and continued to clean the snow.

'I didn't know that you live at this old woman house' Someone said from behind, I turn around to see Elvis standing there smiling at me.

'That old woman is my grandmother' I said continuing to clean up the snow.

'Are you always this mean?'

'No but you seem to annoy me' I said without looking at him, I tried to show that I'm busy doing something important.

'Oh common, you want to come to my party? Is on Saturday' He said.

'I don't think so, I am not a social person and beside your party will have weird people' I said rolling my eyes.

'Weird people? Is mostly couple of friends but you know how parties get....you invite couple of people and the next thing you know hundred people are coming'

I don't answer so he continues 'common it will be fun beside you need friends don't you?'

'I'll think about it' I said as I go inside the house. I don't think I would go, I mean common I know how these parties can get and there is no way Sally or mom will allow me to go.

'Who was that?' Sally ask washing the dish.

'Elvis...he wants me to go to his party' I said rolling my eyes.

'That boy use to be so sweet before god knows what happen to him' Sally said in a sad tone. I didn't know what she mean by this but I decided not to ask since she will make a huge deal if I ask.

The school was same all my subjects were boring, I was having lunch with Cassy and the others when Kristy got up and went in the washroom.

'Kristy why is it that you always go to washroom in middle of lunch' Kelly said rolling her eyes.

'Give her a break sis' George said, I look at them surprise. I didn't know that Kelly and George were brother and sister I mean they look alike but still they didn't act like one. They seem almost like best friends well almost except that they fight a lot.

'I have to go to, I'll be back' I said when Kristy left.

When I went in the washroom Kristy was no where in sight. I started to fix my hair when I heard someone coughing. I look back and a voice of vomit came...I didn't know if I should ask if this person is okay or not I mean she was in the washroom and if I knock it be weird.

I am new here and people don't really like it when new girl is not minding her own business. I decided to wait till the person in the washroom comes out.

When she did I was surprise, it was Kristy. She looks at me and gives me a smile.

'What you doing here?' She ask washing her hands and face.

'Um just came to fix myself...are you okay?' I ask concern, she look okay just normal.

'Yeah, oh you heard me vomiting don't worry about it, I just ate too much' She said rolling her eyes. I give her a smile with relief. I was so worried I didn't realize that I was so red.

'Let's go...and don't tell the others they will make a big deal about it' She said grabbing my hand and leading me out of the washroom. I guess I just over reacted she was okay and if she was sick she would have told me.

Kelly invite me to her house after school, I decided to take the offer since I had nothing better to do in this small town.

When I went to her house I was surprise by the look of it. It was pretty big, I didn't expect houses to be big in this town.

'So any guys you like?' I ask looking at Kelly.

'Yeah...but I don't think he likes me, his name is Danny' Kelly said looking down and putting nail polish on her nails.

'Oh nice, how about George?' I ask interested.

'Nah don't think so...'

'Talking about me?' George said coming in the room and sitting beside me.

'Yeah I was asking if you like someone' I said playing with his hair. I really loved his hair.

'No way...girls are trouble' He said making a face. I let out a laugh and continue to play with his hair.
