New Beginnings - Ch. 7
Strangeness occurs.
I woke up to blinking light, so I shrugged and squirmed, and realized Aaron was there beside me. I blinked a couple of times and my heart started to race. The memories of earlier; the closeness, the emotions, the passion, it made me smile. I snuggled into his body and he wrapped his arms around me.
"How you slept babe?" Aaron softly mumbled.
"Fine, you?"
"Not too bad, you were beside me," he brushed his lips on my shoulder.
I giggled at Aaron's actions and he pulled me closer to him.
"Why laugh? I'm trying to make my lady feel loved."
"Aww, thanks," I happily said. "You really love me, like a lot."
Aaron stared at me and grinned, "Of course, then I wouldn't say that I love you silly. I love you so much that you're life is worth more than mine."
"Please don't say that," I muttered.
"Why? It's true!"
"Please, don't say that," I repeated but my voice cracked.
"What's wrong, babe?" his voice hinted worry.
"My life is as important as yours. I'm not more special than you, we're equals, so I'm not worth more than you..."
"No stop this nonsense. In my opinion, you're worth more to me, not in the real world. Amanda, please accept it," he murmured.
I closed my eyes and hid my face in the covers. Tears welled up in my eyes, but I held them back, stinging a bit. Aaron moved a bit and he sighed.
"I'm sorry Amanda, I know I hurt your feelings," he softly said. "But I'm telling the truth, you're important to me."
I looked up at him and his face hinted sorrow but love. I slowly got up, crawled over to Aaron, and hugged him. He tightened the hug, making me feel secure, then our lips met. His lips moved faster, making me want more, then his hand slid down my body. I shuddered and he stopped.
"God, I want to do it again so fast," he breathed hard.
"Hmm," I moaned and kissed his nose. "Maybe we should wait until later."
His grip tightened and he smirked. "Yeah, I agree."
I twisted my body around so I can find my clothes, and then I spotted the black smoke coming my way. My heart froze in place, I automatically stopped breathing, and I stared at the smoke.
"Amanda," it echoed my name. "Come to me."
I just sat there, staring at the black smoke. I tried to yell, but my vocal box wouldn't work.
"Come Amanda."
My body started to react to the smoke and I slowly got up. My mind is screaming for help, but no one can help me.
"Huh?" Aaron lightly said, "Amanda?"
Help me Aaron! my mind cried out.
Aaron quickly got out of bed and pulled me back, but it was a lot harder than what he thought. My body started to fight against him, struggling to get free.
"Amanda? What the hell are you doing?"
Aaron, my body is reacting to the smoke. Do something? Anything!
Aaron pulled me over to the other side of the bed and tied my wrists to the bedpost. He moaned at the sight which he had to do, and he just watched my body stop fighting.
"Amanda?" he whispered.
"Aaron," I barely said.
"You're fine, thank god. What happened?"
"The black smoke," I cried.
"Shh, don't worry," he bent down and kissed my lips.
Each time we kissed, the stronger I got. My fears slipped away and became passion.
"Thanks Aaron," I murmured.
"You're welcome babe. I love you and don't want to see you hurt. Let's get you untied and start training you some more."
"Alright," I softly replied and my wrists became free.

Hours passed after the frightful event, and now my body is all sweaty from training. Aaron thought it be better if we practiced control over my body; which is a good thing. I slumped into a chair and took long, deep breaths.
"You alright, Amanda?" Aaron purred my name.
"Yes, just a bit exhausted."
"Hmm, alright, I'll let you rest and I'm going to make us some dinner."
Before I could argue with him, he was gone from the room. I let out a long breath and stared across the room.
"Aaron is different," I sighed and smiled. "But different is nice."
I got up from the chair and walked over to the punching bag. I punched it a few times, and then I relaxed.
"Amanda."
I quickly spun around and saw nothingness. My heart started to race, but I tried to calm down.
"Amanda."
"What do you want from me?" I hissed.
"You."
My mind spun in different directions, I should run, but I'm not a coward.
"Come here to your destiny."
I shook my head, "no."
"So be it," it harshly said and I fell into darkness.

I opened my eyes to complete darkness, can't see anything except pitch dark. I moved my hands around, only feeling a wall. My fear started to wash over me, making me paranoid.
"Hello?" I whimpered.
"Ah, you conscious again. Only if I had my physical form right now, I'd take you away from your place," the voice chuckled.
"So, where am I then?" I quickly asked.
"Locked in your mind. Your body is in a deep sleep right now, and your mind is deep in consciousness. I'm here to talk to you," said the voice.
I opened my mouth but closed it, not wanting to talk to this person who wants me evil. I got up and moved towards my right, but was stopped by shackles around my ankles.
"You're going to hear me out through," the voice became harsh.
I fell onto the floor and just sat there, not knowing what to do anymore. I closed my eyes and tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Don't cry, tears shows weakness," then the lights flickered on and something grabbed on to my face. "And you're going to be an excellent leader for the shadow realm."
I opened my eyes and what surprised me that this thing was a man. Medium length black hair, with smooth black eyes, a stubble growing, and he's quite muscular and slender.
"I'm no leader," I harshly said.
"You are too," then he let go of me. "You and I are supposed to rule this world together."
"But, I thought I was supposed to?" I muttered.
"Well, you are, but I'm too. Now the sad thing is, I can't touch you in any sexual way now," his voice became hard.
What is he talking about...oh...Aaron... I thought and smirked.
"That's asshole had to do it. Don't worry, he'll regret the day once he sees me."
"Don't you dare touch him," I growled.
"You are sassy, love sassy girls," he chuckled. "We'll I'm not worried, as long as I kill him properly, then I can touch you," his voice became taunting.
"If you kill him, I'll kill myself," I hissed.
"Not if I stop you," he smiled.
I started to cry again and he grabbed my face. I tried to push him away, but he is too strong for me. He grabbed a hold of my wrists and grabbed my throat.
"If that asshole touch you again, there will be hell to pay," he harshly said then disappeared.
My wrists and ankles became free and I ran towards the door, but it was locked. I beat the door, but no one answered. I fell to the floor again and choked back sobs.
"Aaron! Aaron, if you can here me, I need you!" I cried out. "Aaron!" then I started to cry.
Something felt warm, like a blanket went around me. I blinked a few times hoping to see a different scene, but nothing. But then I felt like I am in something soft, like a bed.
"Amanda, dam, I hope you're fine," Aaron's voice echoed.
"Aaron?"
I closed my eyes again, relaxing my body so Aaron could find where I'm hiding at. About five minutes later, I felt his warm embrace around my body.
I opened my eyes quickly to Aaron's face, and he looked like he was really worried. He grabbed a hold of my face and kissed my passionately.
"I thought you were fine?"
I nodded my head and started to cry again, and Aaron held me tightly.
"Shh, don't worry Amanda," he whispered. "Let me see in your mind."
I sniffled a bit and opened my mind. He saw the guy and me shackled up, and his eyes locked on mine.
"Don't worry Amanda, he won't take me down, and you're safe here. I'll get one of my friends over in an hour to help me with something. Why don't you rest right now," he softly said.
"But, I don't want to see his face again," I muttered.
"Don't worry. I'm here, I'll block the bad dreams away for you."
"Alright," I muttered.
Aaron tucked the covers around me, and gave me a long kiss. "Sleep well, tomorrow will be a busy day," and then I blacked out.
"How you slept babe?" Aaron softly mumbled.
"Fine, you?"
"Not too bad, you were beside me," he brushed his lips on my shoulder.
