Chapter 1
JESSIE
Beep! Beep! Beep! My hand flew to the top of my alarm clock and I shut it off. Huh, another first day of school.
"Jessie!" My mom called. "Time to get up! School starts in 15 minutes!"
"Coming mom!" I answered back as I got out of bed.
I looked out the window.....huh, just a typical first day of school. I go to Charles Middle School. CMS was a typical middle school, with cliques and jocks, and girly-girls, tomboys, and guys who think that they can do whatever they want and girls who think that they own the school. I don't "classify" as any of these. Me, I'm just the weird girl who always reads when she's nervous.....just the school nerd.
MARK
Ugh, I did not feel like going to school today. I just woke up with a major headache, and I don't know why. I go to CMS (Charles Middle School). I was part of the "jock" clique. I play on the football team, the Cougars. We have our first game in a month, I hope that we win.
"Mark! Time for school!" My mom yelled up the stairs. "Are you going to walk or do you want me to drive you?"
"I'll walk mom! Be down in a minute!" I replied, hurriedly slipping on one of my favorite sweatshirts.
Jessie
I was on the bus sitting at my seat waiting for the bus to get to school. I had on a pair of dark blue jeans and a black T-shirt with a smiley face on it that said, "You wanna piece of this?", and my favorite black sweatshirt over it.
I pulled out my backpack from under the seat and got my I-pod out. I was listening to "Monsoon" by Tokyo Hotel when someone tapped me from behind. I sighed and turned around...
