Never Understand
To my grandma...
You may listen but you don’t understand.
When I do talk to you it seems like
It goes through one ear and out the other.
Not grasping what I say.
So when you start putting me down.
In my room, in my bed,
I lay Crying, Crying so hard I feel sick and tired.
You don’t realize that everything you say it’s about you.
I know you hurt and honestly I am getting tired of hearing it.
You never understand that I don’t tell you how I feel
Because I know that you are just going to twist it around
And make me the bad person.
When I do talk to you it seems like
It goes through one ear and out the other.
Not grasping what I say.
So when you start putting me down.
In my room, in my bed,
I lay Crying, Crying so hard I feel sick and tired.

Because I know that you are just going to twist it around
And make me the bad person.
