Never Meant To Be

Poem about the past, basically, the reality of how a relationship couldn't work out again if the idea was to approach me again.
I always wondered what u were up too
How you changed
And if u ever thought about me too

And now I see
I see that u do miss me
I see that u did care
I see that you forgive me through it all

When I realized this
I didn't know what to think
I froze and it made my heart sink

Would I ever be with you again
Would we ever talk
Would we ever feel the same,
Then I begin to think of what we could've been

I think and think
Would I ever let u back in?
Would I take the chance for u to be in my life again?
You were a life experience
And I promised myself that I would never think of you
It sucks that I barely realize this and I should've knew.

........that there would never be a
you and me.
