Never Again

All those nights, I was alone, you didn’t even bother to call me on the phone.
I hated where I was, but I didn’t want to leave.
I thought you were the one, I now feel as though I was dumb.
You kissed my lips with love, then broke my heart with hate.
My head filled with thoughts of love and pain, it was as if you thought it were a game.
At the start it was pleasure, then you turned it into pain, I wanted to go back, it was as though you had changed, you gave me pain I’ll never forget, you controlled me as if I were your pet.

You put me on your ride, then you left me halfway through it, you tried to guide me then I saw that you were blind.
You left me in the dark and turned off the light, then you locked the door, and left me there to fight.
You left me with questions of truth and lies, then I finally opened my eyes, that’s when I started to change my mind.
I found the key, and opened the door, I was glad this had ended, but still went back for more.

You told me it would be alright, then made me feel worse, with a fight.
I knew I’d made another mistake, I thought it was a nightmare, till I realized I was awake.
I regretted coming back to you, but didn’t trust my instincts because I still loved you.
I’ll never forget what you put me through, I went to hell and back just for you, then one day I grew, and found out the truth and thought to myself… "Do I really love you?"
My answer was no, "that’s it, I’ve got to go" . "Your tearing me apart and breaking my heart".

"Never again, this nightmare got to end, what you put me through, don’t even think I’ll be your friend, I’ve walked this road twice before, but never again, I’m closing the door".
Now it’s your turn to go through my pain, because I never want to see you again. You broke my heart, and tore me apart, and I went insane, because I played your game, but family and friends showed me the way.

And never again I’ll go with you, because of all the pain you put me through.
