Neon Moon
A short love poem.
Beneath a neon moon we stood,
Embraced within a silhouette,
A kiss of flavoured sweetness loomed,
I stole this moment to impress
My love upon your heart.
A breezy breath of cool night air,
Like shadow, touched your velvet skin,
With animated whisps of hair
Exposed upon its gentle wind,
Naked, as the neon moon.
Within a gently whispered sigh,
Illumined inside a silver slither
Of neon moon, within its shine
My heart did quiver,
As we embraced the night together.
Words spoken from scented breath,
Sounding strange, mysterious,
As if from heavenly choir, sent,
To sing of their deepest love,
To sing in praise of us.
It was then that our souls took wings
To embrace the wind on which we flew,
To feel the joys that love could bring,
The rapture of our hearts renewed,
Beneath the neon moon.
Embraced within a silhouette,
A kiss of flavoured sweetness loomed,
I stole this moment to impress
My love upon your heart.
A breezy breath of cool night air,
Like shadow, touched your velvet skin,
With animated whisps of hair
Exposed upon its gentle wind,
Naked, as the neon moon.
Within a gently whispered sigh,
Illumined inside a silver slither
Of neon moon, within its shine
My heart did quiver,
As we embraced the night together.
Words spoken from scented breath,
Sounding strange, mysterious,
As if from heavenly choir, sent,
To sing of their deepest love,
To sing in praise of us.
It was then that our souls took wings
To embrace the wind on which we flew,
To feel the joys that love could bring,
The rapture of our hearts renewed,
Beneath the neon moon.
