Necromancer, Hold Me Close - Chapter Two

Adrian, from 'Love Last Forever: A Ghost Story', is back! This is his series and it tells how he finds out about his heritage and stuff by meeting a gorgeous girl, who knows his secret and what he is. Comment and enjoy! A picture of Adrian. (Andy Sixx/Andy Biersack)
Most pretty blonde girls don't look at me. They just see me as some punk kid. The new girl was staring at me. Keira stared at me curiously and shamelessly. I practically saw Josh, my personal bully, punch his fist in a menacing way. It was clichéd but it got the job done. I was terrified out of my mind.

I got picked on a lot mostly because they could sense something not quite right about me. Which was true. I can see ghosts.

"Miss Conaly please take a seat by Mr. Jordans." He said and I raised my hand to beckon her. My last name is Jordans and my first Adrian. Adrian Jordans.

Keira smiled brilliantly and walked to sit next to me.

"What's your name?" I told her, "Are you the Necromancer I'd sensed?" She said.

"What?" I questioned.

"Necromancer. As in a person who can raise the dead and communicate with them."

I frowned. I'd never been able to 'raise' the dead. I'd only talked to some ghosts.

"I have no clue what you're talking about." I said, thoroughly confused.

"You should." She said then sniffed, "You have a large quantity of Power in you." Keira is definitely crazy. And coming from me, that was saying something.

"Class..." Mr. Bruno started and I stopped listening. WTF?

Later at lunch I sat with Jona and Mariabelle. Mariabelle chatted nonstop about Keira. I was tempted to call her Maria-babble because I usually did.

Keira sat down next to me just as my friend finished her sentence.

"Um, what're you doing here?" I asked and wished I hadn't.

"Silly, I'm sitting with a Necromancer."

Jona lifted a brow, "Isn't that someone who speaks to the dead?" He asked and I was surprised he knew that much. Heck, I knew next to nothing.

"Yup and Adrian is one."

Mariabelle burst out laughing. Jona looked at me curiously. Mariabelle, then, subsided as she realized no one had joined her.

"You gut to be kidding." She said and glared at me. I didn't approve nor disprove the statement. I shrugged and took a bite from my pizza.
