Naive

Be naive my young fellow,
break the bonds that keep you tethered
to these rendered down emotions of peasants and beggars
Open your Eyes you can’t make it out there

Your worthless words written on an uncharted canvas
along with made up lines & unanswered questions,
Your broken heart drags along the unwanted sadness
but be Naive young fellow of coarse you’re destined for greatness

It’s been 10 long years and nothing has changed
you have your hobby and yourself to blame
Those worthless words are the only thing keeping you sane
But yet in you nothing has changed
You're still naive to think you'll make it someday

Every morning you tell the mirror
the same thing "Naive young fellow don’t be so bitter,
someone’s bound to like your writing sooner or later"
the pathetic thing is I haven’t learned from it either
