Nain Rouge - The Red Dwarf of Disaster
Learn some facts behind the Nain Rouge, that show this creature of cryptozoology may be a being from the spiritual realm
The Nain Rouge is a creature that haunts Detroit, Michigan and several other parts of the US. The Nain Rouge is feared by residents as the 'harbinger of doom'. Every time it shows itself terrible events seem to always happen. It appears as a child like creature with red and black fur. With its piercing red eyes and rotting teeth the sight of it clearly scares or enrages all that see it.
The word Nain Rouge comes from a French word that mean red dwarf. It's awkward red face, cold shimmering eyes and protruding teeth makes the Nain Rouge scary not only in its conveying of bad luck but also with its frightful face.
In 1701 the Nain Rouge was attacked by Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac and his fate took a turn for the worst. He suffered emotionally and physically when he lost all his fortune. The battle of the Bloody Run was said to happen right after the appearance of the Nain Rouge. In this battle 59 British soldiers died at the hands of Native Americans from the Chief Pontiac Tribe.
The great 1805 fire which destroyed most of Detroit was preempted by several sightings of the Nain Rouge. William Hull claimed to have seen a red dwarf right before the Detroit surrender in the war of 1812.
Between 1884 and 1976, several sightings or attacks from the Nain Rouge were said to have happened right before immensely tragic events that have been recorded in history.
According to a Michigan Believer, in autumn of 1996 two men said that they heard a cawing sound just like a crow from a small man that seemed to be hunched over as he fled the scene of a car burglary. They said he looked like he had a badly torn fur coat.
The presence of mythical creatures should not be shrugged at. Architecture, literature and even history record their existence. Why then would there be so many similar stories about them from different decades if they truly were just figments of man's imagination.
To this day the idea of seeing the Nain Rouge brings fear to those that know of its sinister claim on events and its existence. To merely try to forget or deny the existence of this creature is a complete irony of what the norms of our world dictates. We believe and even study events in history that historians feel are significant and have helped mold our modern world.
Significant people and events that have had first hand experiences with the Nain Rouge profess of their uncanny fate right after seeing the Nain Rouge. Will the Nain Rouge have to show its peculiar face today for all mankind to believe? Pray that this isn't the case, because, as history shows us and somehow warns us, whenever the Nain Rouge decides that it is time once more to show itself, then fear, pain, suffering and an unbecoming event will surely follow.
