My Vampire - Chapter 3

I came near the door to see if there's someone but none. I turn my back and I saw Percy. I was shock on it that it makes my heartbeat fast. "Hi Luna!" He greeted me smiling. "How did you know my name?" I asked him. "Our professor called you... a while ago in our class," he said. I remembered our professor call me when I was staring on him. Gosh... I was embarrassed that time.

"So... why are you here? Why don't you join others?" I asked curiously. "I don't like them!" He answered. "Seriously?" He nodded then he stood beside me. "Umm... Luna!" "Hm?" I smirked and stare at him. "Can we be friends?" He offered. Is this real? No one wants me to be their friend but Percy wants. "Are you sure?". "Of course I am!" He said in a jolly voice. Well... I think he really mean it. I accepted his offer. "OK!" Then we crossed index finger. Sign of our friendship.

From that day onwards we became close. Sometimes I get irritated when Percy and I come in our room together. They're staring on us! One of my classmates had a crush on Percy. This girl also hates me so much too. Her name is Ivy. Sometimes she throws paper on me during our class but I'm just ignoring it.

One day while I'm in the rooftop, waiting for Percy who brought our snack, Ivy came together with her friends Rica and Sarah. I was sitting in the corner, making paper airplanes when Ivy came and get the paper airplane I'm making then she crumple it. "Ivy? How did you find me here?" I asked her a little scared. "We followed you idiot!" Ivy said. It's not new for me that Ivy is calling me that. She always do it even though we're in front of many people. I stay quiet so Ivy and her friends won't hurt me. "So... why Percy and you always together? What did you do to him?" Ivy asked me.

"I didn't do anything" I answered. "If you didn't do anything, do you think Percy would stay with you?" She insulted. I didn't talk. I don't want to hear more insulting words from her.

"Hey idiot, speak up!" Rica said. "Maybe she used spell on Percy," Sarah added. "It might be. Is that it huh?" Ivy said then they started pinching me. Their pinch hurts me and pushing me back. I tripped-up and I fell in the ground. The three girls laugh at me. Teasing me. Ivy came over and ready to slap me. Exactly, Percy came! "Ivy stop that!" He exclaimed. Ivy paused as Percy walks towards us. He grabs Ivy's hand and pulls her.

"What do you think you're doing?" Percy asked. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt Luna. Actually..." Ivy explained but Percy cut it. "Come on Ivy. Don't be a liar. I saw what you and your friends did to Luna". "I'm sorry" Ivy said. "Don't apologize on me. It's Luna you've hurt." Ivy stared at me. Seems like she don't want to do it but she did. She apologized on me. After that Ivy and her friends went down. Percy kneels and asked me if I'm okay. I nodded then he sat beside me. "It's about me right?" He said. "What?" I asked him.

"Because of me Ivy hurt you". Yes! I told him the truth that Ivy hurt me because of him. I also told him that Ivy hated me since then. "A... so that's why she treated you that way".

After our class, Percy and I walk together. People are staring on us and I feel irritated but he said that I just have to ignore it. While walking, Percy talked. "Umm... would you like to visit in my house?" He offered. "Hm? Surely?" "Aha! I'll treat you for a dinner," he said joyously. "Mmm... I'm shy to your parents," I said. His smile disappears. Instead he sigh and said..."My parents were already dead," when I heard it, I feel so sorry. It Seems like I've done bad thing to him. "I'm sorry," I apologize. He smile again and said that it doesn't matter. "It's been a long time. So! Would you like to come?" I nodded. "OK!"
