My True Fear

Realizing you truly love someone is petrifying…
I trembled with fear
You gazed into my eyes
My soul was naked and sheer
I lost all sense of pride

You captured me
Confiscated my mind
My heart was then free
Yearning for you to find

The passion of your tender kiss
The sweetness of your breath
Lost into my blood, escaped to the abyss
Through my veins, into my depth

I unveiled my over worn mask
Your true aura then exposed
This moment couldn’t last
My conscience unacquainted

With the torturous emotions
My life was soon to solely be
The undesirable destination
Of loving you more than me

That night I realized something
I know I will never forget
That love is now unforgiving
Since two identical souls have met

Vacant I am without you
But your’s I’ll never be
I know my love was true
My heart whispered it to me

The man of my dreams
My searched deemed complete
These enigmatic feelings
Are to remain obsolete

For time has ceased passing

Breathlessly waiting for all eternity
Until then my soul remains bound
I will always love you everlastingly
That is my solemn swear, my true fear found
